To Colmes’ credit, he took it in stride, at least on camera. On extremely rare occasions, Colmes uses his brain for good, but mostly he’s just a DNC parrot. I have to admit, it was refreshing to hear him being called on that point, but Morris let his anger take control, which is rarely useful.

Colmes kept interrupting Morris. Eventually Morris said something like, "If you're going to have me on your show, you're going to have to listen to me speak. Otherwise, get someone else."

IMO, Colmes was the rude one, and Morris just wasn't going to take Colmes' cr*p anymore. I'm so glad I heard it live ... usually this kind of stuff happens right after I turn off the tube.

I’m no fan of Alan Colmes, but Dick Morris acted like a Dick.

Seriously. I was being facetious and threw that comment out there, not trying to be a wet blanket. I’m sorry if I came across that way. He doesn’t strike the fear of God in me or anything.

Just commenting that he’s one of these guys where a ringing endorsement is kind of “hmm”. Kind of like Bob Shrum and the other “jinxes” out there.

His record of predictions aside, he’s a brilliant analyst, consistently brings up good points, and I’ve agreed with him most of the time in 2008. His slam of Colmes was priceless.

I must disagree with you that Colmes is hard to hate. Colmes is smarmy, sanctimonious and rude. He consistently cuts guests off in the middle of statements, and like a child, insists on having the last word. The person with the microphone frames the debate and determines by virtue of that not only what questions are asked but more importantly what questions are not asked. He has every conceivable advantage, and is NOT entitled to the last word. Even Bill O'Reilly recognizes this and (mostly) shows his guests the courtesy of having the last word.

In addition to all that, Colmes is a liar who repeats talking points ad nauseum even when he has been shown that the statements are false. He was at his worst during the Clinton impeachment, and Hannity is too easy on him. Colmes' Blog remarks about Sarah Palin and her family betrayed him as a disgusting, tiny little man. His response, that he would not retract them -- and that he subsequently retracted them only when pressured by the network -- were revealing of his truly despicable character.

Morris’ eyes were bugging. He was pissed. When Colmes, whom I am convinced is a Strigoi, invariably responds with his talking points, he sounds like Obama when he whined that he too had a bracelet. Pathetic.
