I think youd have to be a litle off in the head to think Biden won that debate.

Sarah’s got That Vision Thing.

Now, John simply has to join in and we’ll be cruising.

Tonight I saw what I had been hoping for, Sarah being herself. I’m happy!

I thought Biden did a good job hiding the liberalism on his side of the ticket.
I thought Palin did a great job until it came time to cover for the other half of the ticket.
Freakin’ bipartisanship! That only works when the other side isn’t trying to throw away the country!

Palin is the epitome of middle class America. She relates to the average American and connects with us.

Imagine if the debate had been moderated by Katie Couric and taped. By the time they were done editing it they would have to cut just about every second of Sarah’s responses out.

You mean the Bush people that came on board McCain after he picked Palin that were replaced when Davis and Schmidt flew in and took her back to AZ? Those lowlifes who no longer will be handling Palin?

She won because she was so main street American. All of the other candidates, including McCain are guilty of her "finger pointing backward" mentality.

She exuded the spirit of Reagan tonight the spirit that says "We are Americans we can do anything, we can overcome anything".

It is precisely that attitude that had branded all of our greatest presidents like: Roosevelt on his Pearl Harbor Speech and Reagan's Shining Light Speech.

She eliminated any doubts about her qualification to become President tonight and I think more than a few wish she was the candidate because she has the fire in her heart.

When Brit pitched it to Luntz, I groaned

I have a problem with the entire premise . Where do you get undecided people at this stage and what does that say about them ?

Sarah Palin came to St. Louis to kick a** and see the arch. Unfortunately for Biden, the arch was closed that day.

When I see Joe Biden, I see liberalism personified.

Tonight, Gov Palin was talking to the American people.

Biden was talking like he was in the well of the Senate -— its called speechifying.

Big difference.

Yes! Sarah connected with "the average person", the good people in the midwest, in "flyover country", the "bitter clingers" in Scranton (where the clown Joe Biden moved away from at a very early age).

Joe would appear to have more substance at his fingertips, but his "substance" was mostly a pack of lies. Biden flat out lied in so many cases... I was ready to throw something at my TV several times. Sarah said tomorrow the pundits will be fact-checking his statements (to see if he lied, which he did). The spin will be interesting in the next several days...

Yeah, I do as well.

I'm not really viewing it through an ideological lense; I can say that Obama edged McCain in the first one.

Don’t go there! That is completely uncalled for

Why is that? Should I pretend I didn't see it?
