Luntz's focus group evenly split between Republicans and Democrats Kerry and Bush supporters. Palin BLEW THIS OUT OF THE PARK!

He did become testy once he realized that she was Ali to his Foreman. At least once, he cut off a rambling ‘answer to nowhere’ and finished it with another platitudinous, lib talking point.

My 24 year old daughter who is not at all political told me, after Sarah’s first acceptance speech, “Mom, I really like her. If you weren’t my mom, I would want her to be my mom. I feel like I can trust her.”

I'm just a few years older than Sarah, but I feel like she's already a good friend of mine. I've absolutely fallen in love with her entire family. They really are remarkable people. (I just read Sarah's biography by Kaylene Johnson)

I was very satisfied by Palin’s performance.

There were several instances when neither Biden nor Palin answered the question put to them. Biden did a better job of pretending to answer questions. Sometimes Palin did not even pretend to answer the question. She hasn’t polished that Washington skill.

But another big thing is content. Joe hammered away with his attacks on Bush. She did well in saying they were focused on the past, and that all administrations have made major mistakes. I think she connected well with people as an ordinary person. She is positive about America, Americans, and the military, and it shows. Like Reagan, she is a tonic against pessimism and national demoralization. That’s important.

She talked strongly about Wall St. corruption, and just hinted at government corruption. For free market advocates, government corruption is a bid deal. This should be a big deal for Republicans too as almost all the corruption has been by Democrats. I hope McCain and Palin will hammer away on this. Democrats, Barney Frank and others, undermined the regulators of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Then Obama accuses Republicans of de-regulation! What gall. Obama is the one who takes the most money from Fannie Mae, and McCain takes just about the least. Who’s bought? Barack and Michelle’s ACORN organization is also partly responsible. His community organizing days have born fruit in today’s financial crisis.

That actually happened. Davis and Schmidt flew in to pick her up and take her back to Sedona for debate prep. Bush people that had been working with her got left behind. Made my day because I didn’t trust them.

It was booked before all this happened. Since Bush sided with Paulson/Obama/RATs at the meeting against the House GOP/McCain, I have nothing left for his leftover advisors that didn’t go to McCain until after the Convention. Makes me wonder what they are doing.

I've heard that Palin is booked to do The View. If they're serious about squandering their best campaign asset that way, there are still people who need to be fired.

UNBELIEVEABLE!!! I hope not. Sarah has been set up for hatchet jobs already from Charlie Gibson & Katie Couric. Enough is enough!!! Tonight we saw Sarah Palin do an incredible job and beat Plugs to a pulp. I hope & pray that McCain will literally unleash Sarah to go after left-wing marxist Obama in the way that plays beautifully to her strengths.... TALKING DIRECTLY TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE, USING AD's THAT CAPTURE HIGHLIGHTS FROM TONIGHT, FIRED UP SPEECHES, TALK RADIO, LOCAL & REGIONAL TV NETWORKS, ETC!!!

Enough of setting her up for hatchet jobs with crazed liberals looking to berate her on trivial points. And to put her on The View with crazed liberals undermines everything good that happened tonight. I would love to see Sarah herself standing up to the idiots & campaign hacks who are booking her for these hatchet jobs, and take control of her agenda & schedule, to play most effectively to her strengths!

BTW I was absolutely ecstatic when Sarah mentioned at the end tonight, that she enjoyed so much debating & talking directly to the American people rather than through "staged" interviews that edit & splice what the media want you to see!!! I would have loved to have seend Gibson's face & Couric's face at that moment!!! Way to go Sarah!!!

I had a huge surprise at work from the lame crowd who believes whatever the MSM said. They weren’t sure that the reporters were fair or accurate about Sarah. They wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt. I’ve never heard anything like that from this crowd about any Republican.

Good Lord that is a snakepit - I can’t imagine appearing on there would sway any viewers, they are all Kool-Aid drinkers. Sarah is good, but it would be 4 on 2. Those hateful people make me seethe.

It would not be 10 seconds until Whoopie started talking about slavery or something...

"(Begala was one) said Biden won a knockout."

Yet again the reptilian Begala proves that he keeps his head so far up his a## that he is incapable of rationality and objectivity. No self-respecting show would ever allow airtime to scum like Begala.

The Katie Colon interview only made this perfomance all the more impressive. Besides Katie the biggest losers tonite were Byebiden, Tina Fey and Gwen Ifle.

Fox had over 1,000,000 text votes on who won: 86% Palin, 12% Biden.

But the sourpuss expressions on their faces said it all. They looked beaten.

___________

And that is the tale of this remarkable story. Sarah Palin unnerves the Left and their body language says it all.

We need another “crisis”, get McCain back to Washington.

Can you imagine what she would do to Obama? She not only kicked Biden’s sorry ass tonight she painted Obama as a dangerous, anti-Military candidate.

Outstanding——Sarah had everything going for her. Her take-no-prisoners presentation, winning personality and poise, knowledge of issues. Going toe-to-toe with a seasoned pol might have been intimidating; Sarah more than held her own.
