Gaah - since I can’t review the past 1000 posts, doggone it I’m gonna tell you guys how Chuck Todd and Andrea Mitchell have soiled many diapers tonight! Forgive me if you’ve heard it.
Was flipping channels right after they finished; Todd (who says the election’s over already) on NBC was saying the boost from this won’t last more than a day, and Andrea was looking more gaunt than usual and opined that Palin had managed to “stop the bleeding.” If that’s not a clear win for Palin, I dunno what is!!
Nah, that would be too rich.
I hope so. I hope most people are better informed than I think.
Ya know I have had tragedy in my life too but I can’t remember the last time I cried about it 20 or so years later. Looked more like a poor attempt at a Clinton move.

Well, I don’t feel like I missed much; apparently Sarah came thru big time, and now it needs to be said, “.......STAND UP, JOE, AND LET ‘EM SEE YA.....oh.....”
I thought she was excellent. It was certainly a great triumph over the MSM’s propaganda and low expectations for her. Now that maybe 60 million people have seen her shine like this it should be that much harder for the MSM to get away with their c-r-a-p all the time, though they will try.
She could have been better on some particulars, such as refuting Biden’s specific mistakes and all-around bloviation, but she did stay focused on the points she wanted to make and she made them. There were some openings I wish she had taken to “field-dress” Biden and Obambi like a pair of moose, but she did not need to take any big risks - she just needed to prove her steady competence and judgment and she DID.
Wish she had refuted some of Biden’s bloviation about “deregulation” and Obama on meeting directly with dictators without pre-conditions...... those were particular weak points on which Biden’s b.s. should have been shredded. But, again, she did not need to try for a series of grand slams that could expose her to risk — she just needed a strong, solid, re-assuring performance. She did all that and more, much more. She really connects well with people. She does have a great “real American” persona that does compare well to Ronald Reagan. Obambi and Biden both come off as unappealing to most real people, especially in comparsion with our Sarah. Kudos, Governor Palin!!
