Okay, folks. Let's keep an eye on this debate and see if Sarah can beat down hairplug.
Joe’s body language and voice modulation got a little bit agitated if you ask me, but he stayed in control.
This is nothing compared to the meltdown we would see if McCain could manage to push the buttons of Obama Our Dear Leader. Take off the frikkin gloves, John!!
Wish I had seen that. Hope it comes out online soon.
No, the tears were not staged, but they were unacceptable at the presidential level, unless you are retired. Remember Papa Bush? Biden lost control, not good. And—if he thinks obamination is going to have him in on every meeting to give input, he’s in dream land.
It’s a terrible tragedy, but his current wife and children must get very tired of hearing about it so often. When Palin speaks about her family, it’s in reference to current problems for the middle-class Americans. Biden just seems to want a sympathy vote.
Excellent #3423. Great work and printed for the Pub discussion tomorrow. Everyone should read that. You did a lot of research on that. Thanks.
Washington insiders would think that Biden won. He speaks their language. The problem is that Palin speaks the language of most Americans and those are the ones who really count.
BINGO!!!!!!
i was very happy someone called Alan on his bad behavior. He is either the stupidest human on the planet or just intellectually dishonest.
that is the quote of all quotes...........I’ll carry that borrowed quote throughout the week and give credit where it is due!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
“Some Democrat cheerleader goober”
Meanwhile, a lib on another board is saying that “Biden owned that dumpster slut!!”...
Did it watch the debate on LIBERAL BIZZARRO PLANET???
LOL, I’m glad you watched. Greta live to AK right now.
I don’t know when it was taken, I picked up the image from an FR thread - there was no date nor attribution shown. Can’t find the source again, sorry.
Wow. Even Tom Brokaw was enthused about her.
Parting words from Gov. Palin (to LIVE by):
“It was Ronald Reagan who said that freedom is always just one generation away from extinction. We don’t pass it to our children in the bloodstream; we have to fight for it and protect it, and then hand it to them so that they shall do the same, or we’re going to find ourselves spending our sunset years telling our children and our children’s children about a time in America, back in the day, when men and women were free.”
“We will fight for it, and there is only one man in this race who has really ever fought for you, and that’s Senator John McCain.”
Yes, she did hold her own. I guess I just wanted more aggression. I know Biden was just throwing stuff out there, that’s what made me tense up with a kind of, ‘Come on, Sarah. What he just said was crap.’ I’m just not sure how many people out there will recognize that and will think he came off calm and knowing what he was talking about. That was my original point. To look at this debate NOT as someone who is going to vote McCain/Palin, but stepping outside my own bias.
Maybe it’s just all the Barracuda hype. I want her to fire with both barrels and make the oppo scream with pain. :) I’m a little violent that way.
Now Joe Biden has to go home and explain to all his friends how he got his butt kicked by a girl.
God bless him.
Doesn’t excuse him for his socialist idealogy, but god bless him.
You’ll probably see this long after I am asleep, but I changed it back a couple of posts ago. :-D
I’m off to bed. If I don’t go now, I’m going to wake up tomorrow with the keyboard indented in my face. ;-)
Here’s the pre-debate email from “Barack”.
I capped the words I found very “interesting?”
(VOTE FRAUD OHIO)
onight at 9:00 p.m. Eastern, we’ll hear from the two candidates for vice president.
My running mate Joe Biden and the Republican nominee, Governor Sarah Palin, need to be ready to step in as president at a moment’s notice, and this is the only time they’ll appear side-by-side before Election Day.
This debate is also extremely important because early voting began this week in eight states — including the crucial battleground state of Ohio.
IN FACT THE VOTES CAST IN OHIO THIS WEEKEND could ultimately decide who wins this whole election. There are only four days left in the NARROW WINDOW OF OPPORTUNITY when VOTERS can REGISTER AND VOTE EARLY ALL IN ONE STEP.
Republican operatives tried to shut down one-stop early vote in court this week, but they failed. And now you can help provide the resources for an intensive four-day Get Out The Vote operation before the window closes.
Make a donation of $5 or more today to help Get Out The Vote in Ohio and other early vote states.
Early voting will play a bigger role this year than ever before.
And after tonight’s debate, voters will be motivated to cast their ballots for the change this country needs.
Joe Biden and I share a vision for the future of this country, and it’s very different from the vision of our opponents.
I’m sure you’ll see that contrast in tonight’s debate.
But there’s another contrast that you can see in every aspect of this campaign. Joe and I know that real change comes from the bottom up, not the top down. That’s why we’ve always put our faith in supporters like you.
Make a donation of $5 or more right now to help reach Ohio voters and Get Out The Vote in other early vote states.

You’ve built an unprecedented grassroots movement, and that’s what will make all the difference in the next 32 days.
Thanks for everything you’re doing, and make sure you tell everyone you know to watch tonight’s debate.
Barack
Buahahahhahhahahhahahah!
