Morris said he hasn’t seen someone with her communication skills and ability to relate since REagan! That includes Obama ans Clinton.

“I’d like to see any man try and debate for 90 minutes while standing in heels like that. They’d be reduced to a blubbering puddle in the first 5 minutes”

Barney Frank could do it . As a matter of fact I bet he has done it.

She set the foundation and now watch McCain build the house. This race is now McCain’s after tonight. She was amazing.

My thoughts exactly. This is being set up for McCain to close the deal. Palin held back tonight.

I was only 9 when Ferraro was on the ticket, so I don't know the answer to this one. But was there this sort of excitement when Ferraro was on the ballot, too? Or by then was it clear that Mondale was going to lose so it was just a novelty?

There was the excitement of the 'first female VP candidate", of course, but, I found her dry and boring. I think part of Palin's excitement is the energy she brings with her. jmo

VP doesn’t matter.

McCain lost my vote long ago. Who cares. I laugh in your general direction.

Which was the right thing for her to say. Her body language said it was painful for her to "agree" to even as much as she did. This is a non-problem for her or for my opinion of her.

She has to agree with McCain superficially, because it is of no present value to disagree. But for her to change in 2012 will hurt her no more than it hurts Biden that he said Obama is not ready for the presidency. It won't stick.

“The entire Anthropological Climate Change (ACC) argument is totally discredited by scientists who are IN THE RELEVANT FIELDS OF STUDY.”

Yes. It’s a fairly recent development due to some experiment that did not get the results they expected.
Something about “hotspots” they expected to find in certain areas of the atmosphere.

I remember reading an opinion from an australian scientist - and then another scientist from U.S. said basically the same thing to congress over the summer.

Let’s see if anyone in msm-land wants to talk about some of these previous believers changing their minds.

That was early and a well deserved dig for katie and charlie. She was un-edited and the fact that this thread is still cooking hot means the energy is back. :^)

“Obama has asked me to sit in on all his major decisions”

God I hope McCain and crew use this in attack ads right around Nov1st.

Letterman and Leno both have made funny jokes about Palin’s performance in the debate. These opinions were presented at 5:00 this afternoon. I predict they will both try to get Sarah as a guest...but will be required to make an apology first. ;o)

“McCain gets energized by Palin, too. I betcha she’s put some new life into him again tonight”

If McCain can’t figure what Sarahcuda just accomplished tonight, he is an idiot. Maybe Johns Wife can kncok some sense into him.

LOL. My husband says Biden and Palin could have been in a bikini contest and some in the media would say that Biden won.
