I’m having trouble, too, but it seems to be a general problem with my satellite connection, combined with a slow FreeRepublic.
Anyway what I wanted to say is that it seems as though O’Biden and Ifill are rushing through this, talking as fast as possible to keep the pressure on Palin.
Took me all night to get on this thread. Glad to see that Sarah is kicking ass and taking names. She’s had Biden backed up against the wall all night long!
My s-in-l's husband is bossing a crew installing reactive scrubbers at a coal plant. They have cut back and sent some crews home with the recent political climate. He told me last weekend that they could shutdown until the next FY.
In an age of global terrorism, EVERY president is a target. Bush has been a target even though it didn’t get as much press as the bogus claims of some meth heads against Obama.

“This is the biggest election since 1932...” I assume he watched those presidential debates on TV then.
Biden is talking way to fast. It takes too much effort to listen to his answer. Sometimes Sarah seems hesitant as she starts into her response, but she always gets stronger after a few words and has a good finish.

I just want to make a comment here about how Ifill is running this debate. I think Lehrer did a MUCH better job. She seems to be leaving the basics of debate behind, and she is denying the candidates an opportunity at times to rebut some of these questions and statements.
Right. I think Ifill was a bad choice...
