The cable news networks are standing by for a press conference by House Republicans on the bailout bill. It should start some time after 6:30 p.m. EDT.
You got that right. And besides, Neil always makes me feel better.
Personally, after watching the first show the other night, I found it boring. While I sometimes enjoy Huckabee's commentary on other shows, I can't watch him for a whole hour.
Interesting. I wonder if Soros was behind some of that. I wouldn’t be surprised.
Do you have a link? If not, I can google for a while. Great tip.
“This is what happens when you dont have a majority.”
Yeah, and we don’t have a majority because of Bush’s pandering for comprehensive immigration reform/amnesty in 2006, a critical election year.
And we’re in this freeking mess because of all the pandering to illegals with mortgages via Bush’s push for an Ownership Society and challenge for 5.5 million new mortgages.
“Yeah, get pissed, but go to the voting booth and get Republicans elected. Otherwise you get a dem controlled congress and an idiot dem president.”
Like I was saying.
I have family in the military right now and I agree with you 1000%. I have not been a fan of John McCain myself- but as soon as I realized either he or Obama would be the next CinC I had no doubt in my mind that I needed to support John McCain and I have not wavered from that.
What has gotten in to this place?
I don’t agree at all.
McCain will be closer to or tied with BO again by mid-week.
So who will get in line for a bailout next? This is just the beginning.
“”Who said do nothing? Cut the taxes. Cut the spending. Cut the roadblocks to private enterprise. Cut the government. Drill for oil. Build refineries. Build coal plants. Build nuclear plants. Prosecute and jail the guilty. Hang the traitors. Let free markets reign! Set our people free!””
McCain needs to shorten his message down to that simple paragraph. forget all this reaching across the aisle nonsense. people are angry and he can channel it if he’s smart. i’m just losing hope that he has the stones to do it.
If the Republicans vote for the billionaire bailout, they will be party to BLAME for this mess. What fools. Ron Paul, as usual, is the only hero left standing. I knew this GOP opposition was just a charade.
No way.
The Mac and cheese are holding their significant fire for a war they can, and will win. The election.
Tactics vs. strategy indeed. The Obama camp has some pretty devastating tactics, but McCain has shown to have an unbelievable strategy long-term. I predict that by the end of October McCain will have nearly every true independent.
Time will tell.
Effective immediately you and your family are in my prayers.
God Bless the bravery of your family and preserving freedom for our citizens.
Thank you for your prayers.
That’s what they did do. The reason they didn’t get the insurance proposal to be implemented except as an option was that so many of the houses had already gone deep into foreclosure. It’s too late to “insure” those loans.
I won't give up until death,.....theirs...
Thanks!
The democrats took away the foundation of the free market system. Republicans could do nothing about this but whittle it down to something they could digest.
PS Have you considered that this may be much bigger than a financial crisis? Maybe a national security threat? Consider the target on America’s back if she were in a depression.
I’m thinking China
“Yep, we conservatives are done for, time for us conservatives to give up and join the liberals...’
Nope. Ain’t happening.
