Fox is running this Huckabee program during the crisis to add insult to injury.
You’d think Fox would be live right now...

Yes. Imagine a world with no commerce whatsoever. That’s what would have happened next week. Goodyear couldn’t withdraw money from its money market account. Pilgrim’s Pride Chicken was a hair’s breadth away from bankruptcy. I don’t know if they made payroll on Friday.
I know tough times are ahead. I have kids who will have to pay for this pig of a bill. I’m sorry this happened and I want the criminals who caused it in jail, yesterday.

substantial improvements were made in this bill at the insistence of the House GOP AND John McCain.
At worst, McCain has neutralized a losing issue and tied the bailout to Bush.

Get a grip, you want to give more power to democrats because of a bill the house republicans can’t stop? There is going to be a bill regardless and the republican house along with Mccain were able to make it better.

The bill doesn't include ACORN anymore.
Foreign banks can sell toxic US mortgage debt back to us; most likely we'll make a profit when the Gov't sells these back into the marketplace.
Don't know where a copy of the bill is but the House GOP definitely changed things for the better IMO.

The taxpayer want get paid back. If the government does realize a profit Obama will spend it on some stupid program.

McCain just lost the election. It can't get much worse than this under Obama, anyway. Mac did nothing all weekend, except for a meek "me to" at the end. Obama said that all of the so-called “improvements” were agreed well ahead of this weekend. All we can do now is just go about our lives, but stay home on election day. Obama will be up by 12-15 by the Palin-Biden debate.

McCain will certainly have my vote... read my tagline. ;-)
My anger tonight is over how the Gang of Four (Pelosi, Reid, Frank and Dodd) have been front and center at the TV cameras basically taking credit for "saving the US economy". And the 'RAT minions (ie Kerry on today's Fox News Sunday) are going around criticizing McCain for "stalling the bill". Grrr....
Just watched Boehner, Eric Cantor, Blunt et al give the Republican response on Bloomberg TV. The Asian markets' response to this bill and comments by 'RATs and Republicans is mildly positive...
Good night... enjoy that football game. ;-)

where is Reagan when you need him most. He's busy driving around the country kissing babies and buying steak sandwiches repeating the same ten approved phrases.

If McCain gets in not only will the taxpayer get paid back but spending will go down even more.

Count me as stupid, too. I contacted Heath Shuler’s office and Elizabeth Dole and let them know what I think. They probably don’t care but I told them anyway, though I think Dole is against it, too. Not sure about Rep. Shuler.

JOHN SIDNEY MCCAIN needs once and for all to decide who he stands with US OR THEM?McCain is 95% republican 5% of the time. If he wins, think he will, I can assure you that FR will be overloaded with PO'd posters for four years. Think everyone got mad at Bush, you ain't seen noth'n yet!

Good advice, Mrs. Actually, it should be Barry bawling his eyes out, not us. His precious ACORN is off the tree. If he tries to claim he saved the day, he'll make more a fool of himself.
Let's just hope that the truth will come out and the guilty parties punished. Just think of this--six months ago we were sure Clinton Inc. was heading back to the White House with their stolen loot. That was our worst nightmare. Now we have a fighting (sometimes) McCain and a wonderful Sarah Palin. Let's keep the faith, work hard and pray like crazy.
