The cable news networks are standing by for a press conference by House Republicans on the bailout bill. It should start some time after 6:30 p.m. EDT.
Yes a lot of frightened and uncertain people, and such people are given to striking out using conduct unbecoming of Conservatives.
As nasty as this bill and process, especially, has been, the threat posed by the demagogue narcissist and a Democrat triumph is far more chilling, to American freedom. Does anyone expect criminal investigations of Frank, Dodd and many others is likely in a McCain administrations? Little, obviously.
How much less will, "by marvelous means, out" if the fascist thugs using the Allinsky methods, seek justice? Such a though gives me a urinary shiver.
Ordinarily, I'd be content to allow this scum to come to office so another generation can discover the depths we plumbed in the Carter Administration. Of course, an end to fair and free elections may be the result of such an outcome, so it hardly seems worth it to start worrying about the incestuous relations between Wall Street and Congress in a news cycle which, might otherwise have been dominated by the automaker's $25 Billion in loan guarantees, as Congress finally passed it's delinquent budget.
My fellow Freepers, do not allow the pundits to choose your fights for you. You really have won this battle, and should count your blessings. The ACORN slush fund has been eliminated. It really has. Instead, how few of you have bothered to start hammering the Narcissist Demogogue for his lies about Annenberg, and his attempt to radicalize the Chicago school system?
The fact is, we all know, the best bailout would have been massive tax cuts. But that choice was made by the American voters in 2006.
Obama and his minions pose a clear and present danger to the Republic. It's not enough to hope for the opportunity to discredit liberalism by its failure, as it most certainly would, if it comes to full strength next year.
This man's open radical liberalism is being lost in this story. He is a Marxist, at worst, and a tool of Marxists, at best.
This is not good policy, etc. No question.
There is better policy, and justice has come out perverted.
I'm simply not confident we will have the opportunity to defeat him in 2012. We underestimate the danger posed by this man, I think.
This does not mean I support this legislation. I am in favor of what works, and the only thing that works is to get government off the backs of the American people.
Obama must be stopped, Nov. 4, preferably by a large margin. His strident madness (yes, "madness") cannot be allowed to become the voice of the shinning city.
