I think he already lost a substantial amount. He should have hid his money in Costa Rica like most of the Libs do.

The Repubs thought they were going to a legitimate meeting to share thoughts on the deal. Instead, they turned it over to Obama, who should have been there to listen. Now he had already received an outline of the Repub ideas illegitimately, so he snottily referred to Paulson about this Republican treason. The Dems thought this would force the Repubs to cower or as Boehner put it, thought they were going to "roll him".

Word then has it Barney Frank started yelling, all he## broke out and the Repubs walked out. In other words, it was all a setup for the Repubs and they did not appreciate it. And as Rush said, Obama proved he was not a leader, could not cross the aisle, already thinks he is president and would rather do this trivia via his cell phone.

Obama then had to go to his hotel and get talking points from his handlers in order to go to the microphones and tell the world this was no place for presidential politics. Reid was upset Obama couldn't handle the job so he came out this am to repudiate Mccain.

PS Word has it Paulson has been working on the deal with Obama and the Dems since the beginning.
