I agree and think this will be something Rush mentions on Monday.

BUT instead, I had a fun size Hersey bar.:o
You won't believe me, but when I typed "chocolate chip cookies", I almost added "or a cookies n' creme Hershey bar"!

Cool. The young ones are really into that kind of stuff :) Finding all the video would be really difficult I would imagine. YouTube maybe.

(Democrats used to be funny. Now they're just plain dangerous.)

The “I got a bracelet too” was really pathetic. McCain owns him every time he opens his mouth about spending and earmarks.
I can hardly wait for the debate on the economy.

For all purposes, I think this will end up being a draw unless McCain really hits some things hard like the bracelet, agree stuff. In net effect, probably right. But Obama exposed several problems available to McCain to exploit. For example, his ego will not allow him to concede any point whatsoever. And he actually believes his own dodges! John, take that ill-advised ego-driven flail and flip him on his back!!

You are right-I don’t believe Luntz’s group was independent.
To: eyedigress
I'm calling BS on Luntz's pool of "undecideds". Either they duped him or he is slanting intentionally. He keeps showing tape of the same three people (two older women and an older man), who are making comments right out of the DNC playbook. They are not saying off-the-cuff things a political neophyte or truly objective person would say. And why keep highlighting those same three, when supposedly the majority there loved Obama in the debate?
Luntz claimed he took great pains to find true undecideds, but then admits it was done by asking them who they voted for in 2004 and got an even split. How does he know they didn't tell him what he needed to hear to get on the panel?
BS BS BS. No way those three Luntz kept highlighting went into it not already pro-Obama and anti-Mccain. Not buying it for a second.
I will say best thing about the focus group was the young guy who was a dead ringer for Cowboys QB Tony Romo!
To: FredZarguna
That gives him an advantage on "style," but that said I thought he came across as very pedantic for most of the debate, and argumentative on the few occasions when he tried to show fire. I agree with you, FRiend -- pretty much with everything you said, but I part ways with you here. The question is not what you or I thought. It's the folks who aren't already decided: what will they have thought? IMO, they'll think Obama sounded better ... and that's it. His pedantry will be given a pass or -- even worse -- be mistaken for knowledge and substance.
I'd love to be wrong about that....

Remember Gore with all the blush on?Yes! That was for his first debate, I think. And his hair was dyed an unnatural black. His handlers were trying to make him look like Reagan, LOL
To: Safrguns
"I guess I was just expecting McCain to be more aggressive instead of so passive."
That's interesting since a group of undetermined voters in Las Vegas thought McCain was too mean.

To: retrokitten
It’s true! It wasn’t fun size and it was probably the wrong flavor, but “Hershey bar” did enter my mind before I hit the post button :)

Breaking on FNC - a PA focus group done by a Wilkes-Barre paper went big for McCain tonight in the debate. That’s Pennsylvania which Obama needs or he is toast!
