Yes. If you have to concede your opponent was right eight times, that betrays a lack of self-confidence. And people will notice. I think Obambi just knocked out the underpinnings of his candidacy tonight. If McCain is right, he must be the better man. And people are not going to dispute it. What's damaging about it is not even the MSM is going to be able to spin or explain away the fact that Obama conceded the debate to McCain.

I listened to the debate on radio and I thought McCain blew Obama out of the. water. The clips I saw on TV seemed to lessen McCain’s message a tad, which supports the style over substance argument.

I think I may have underestimated McCain’s knowledge on foreign affairs. He had better command than I anticipated.

McCain definitely won the trucker and blind vote for those listening on radio.

Charles Krauthammer for some reason is enamored of Barak Obama. He is fascinated by Obama’s “cool” style and mannerisms. It’ so superficial, and I am so surprised that Charles is so easily snookered by Obama’s “presentation”.

I prefer the bantam cock myself. McCain is like a pit bull who sinks his teeth in and doesn’t let go. He comes in for the continuous short jabs and wears his opponent out. McCain started out slow (I thought his first couple of opening gambits stunk bigtime); however, from that point forth, McCain warmed up, and by the end of the debate, he had sucker punched Obama, deflated his balloon, and won the debate. McCain plays for the long run.

Thoughtful answers. You should watch the debate, though, to see what may not have come across just by listening. The first time Obama tried to interrupt he did it by holding up his index finger and motioning; after that he mostly interrupted verbally.

Yes, bring back Jeremiah. Did McCain even mention Jeremiah , Airs ,et al and the fact that Obama is a socialist/liberal and that Obama has zero executive experience? In a debate I would wipe the floor with Obama or any Marxist.
