Right out of the gate, Stephenopolous and Gibson were praising Obama, saying he proved that he is very knowlegeable about the issues, looked relaxed, and presidential. I predicted they would fawn over the Obamessiah, so I’m not surprised.

My comment was in response to Obama's saying he was for clean coal production. I probably should have explained it a bit better.

Nina Easton thinks McCain knocked Obama off balance with his jabs at the beginning. Obama comes off as "policy speak and not direct" says Nina, whatever that means. Fred said McCain came off very strong at the end. Brit mentioned how often Obama said he 'agreed with Sen. McCain' and of course Juan thought Obama put McCain on the defensive and did well when discussing the economy. On foreign policy he gives it to McCain
