That’s 20% of $700 billion, or $140 billion.

I predicted to someone earlier today that I bet the October surprise will be that Bill Clinton pulls his endorsement from Obama, and while he may not officially support McCain, he will say a lot of nice things about him while criticizing Obama.. He, nor Hill, (nor Hilldog’s friend Biden) want to wait until 2016 for another chance for Hilldog..

Yes, Obama worked for ACORN. As far as I can see, the work that he did for ACORN was the only work that he did as an attorney. Obama defended ACORN against voter fraud charges in Chicago. It’s no wonder that the never mentions this work as part of his experience resume.
Why should ANYTHING extra be in this bill if it’s so important?
Nice opportunity to make ACORN a big issue, this could backfire against Obama, big time.
It wasn’t the original Paulson plan that had the funds for ACORN. That was simply a blanket $700 billion for the Treasury to purchase mortgages and securities. What Senator Graham was referring to was the deal that Senator Dodd was bragging about this afternoon.

Either because the bill ISN’T important and they are trying to pull one over on us or Congress is really that corrupt.
