Even 38D, 33R would be a huge departure from normal, based on turnout over the past several election cycles. GOP gets 35R turnout at least.

“Barack Obama has seized the reins of economic discontent, vaulting over John McCain’s convention gains by persuading voters he both better understands their economic troubles and can better address them.”

Democrats know that the first to assign blame to the other has the advantage. Even though this crisis is clearly due to RAT policies, they seized the high ground by blaming Repubs. Any Repub replies now look like a campaign ploy to divert blame. When will they learn??

Obama ‘understands’ little or nothing about economics or any other issue presidents must deal with. But he’ll have answers as soon as someone puts them on his teleprompter.

If the first debate is on national defense Obama will take a beating because he’ll “hem and haw” over how to deal with a more aggressive Russia, Iran and North Korea. It’ll be Kerry’s fiasco all over again.

Poll skewed Democrats 10% more.

It's a bogus propaganda story to help Obama, as expected around this time from the media.

The poll also oversampled people of color.

Oversample Dems, oversample Blacks - whatever it takes to get the desired results...

How sad is it that Americans think the party that is least suited to handling the economy is the one that is best suited?

Look at the mess democrats have made of our cities, they are well on their way to doing the same all over America.

With a liberal democrat Congress you can say goodbye to domestic energy, just for starters.

“This poll was taken between Sept 19-22nd. Immediately after Wall St news hit and Obama got about a 4-5% bump”.

The “bump” idea strikes me as complete BS. Do you really think that people change their minds about presidential candidates on a weekly (or daily) basis?

IMO, polling is largely used by the MSM to advance their narrative about how the race is unfolding. They are not reporting news, they are making news to sell papers and their point of view. Some pollsters play along in order to promote their service.

The added interviews (commonly referred to as an "oversample") were completed to ensure there were enough African American respondents for separate analysis; the group was not over-represented in the reported results from the full sample.

Per the WP.

Say what you will about the ABC poll but here is one from 2004 around the same time frame.

This poll is probably not good news for McCain.

Sometimes the media use polls to see if they are doing their job. The WP reports here that yes, they have done a great job of making people believe Obama has a clue about what to do, and making McCain seem like he does not.

Push poll. Worse than ever. The Obama campaign is in a panic and will continue to implode. It will be a close election but only by the Dem Vote Fraud Machine.
