The issue of Palin may well fade. That isn’t too relevant — her impact on the race, getting McCain right back into the thick of things poll-wise, isn’t going to fade. And while Cafferty may take solace in the former, it’s the latter that matters — she’s energized the Republican base and a lot of this election will be about turnout.

Know some people on here think he is a genius but he is sounding more and more like sour grapes. Just who is he wanting to win in November? Personally don't think 2000 and 2004 should not have been close and 2006, Rove helped cost us the House and Senate which he also didn't seem to mind.
