Gannett owned website. Headline and link only. Will look for another postable source. The article says the fire chief estimates the crowd today at Palin's rally at 70,000.

Dad golfs on Sunday afternoons, so Mom probably took a nap. But they’ll vote, and that’s what’s important.

There were a lot of young and middle-aged there as well I heard. Obama had like 86,000 but how long was he hyping that? Weeks and months.
McCain-Palin needs to hold rallies outdoors now. No 2,000-seat school gyms.

And remember, these are seniors on a hot day, not twenty-somethings at night with a rock concert beforehand!!No, the crowd had all ages in it, and from FReeper reports, people from two-hours away drove in to see Sarah.

Actually, Obama and his posse are busy right now blaming Republicans for the meltdown on Wall Street last week, and deflecting blame from Democrats.

PALIN DRAWS CROWD OF 70,000 IN THE VILLAGES
Surely there was a free rock concert to draw the crowd.

I know this to be true...
I was at the McCain/Palin headquarters yesterday and tickets were being handed out..
..and had been since the day before.
..and we're a good 2 hr drive to Lady Lake.
People are crazy for Sarah everywhere!
To: linn37
Yep, I guess the dems will have to drop the line about Sarah Palin’s popularity fading.

Holy Crap! If it was a little closer than 4 hours and I didn’t have little ones, I would have been there (and likely one of the 50K on the outside)
