I didn’t miss anything. Of course they tried to slam Sarah, it’s SNL, after all, but the slams didn’t ring true against her. They perfectly captured Hillary, though, because everyone KNOWS how much Hillary wanted the White House.

I agree. Hopefully they’ll get the thing up on their sight this week.

Some are saying it can be seen at the
SNL website but I did not find it. It's probably there but I couldn't see it right off.
However, if you want to see McCain act as the creepy husband, invading Amy Poehler's personal space in a "Lifetime Movie" skit, which is hilarious and in its entirety, it's on page 5 of the link, called something like Love, Honor, and Stalk. I think McCain is a great sport and does a good job in it.

Heck no....I believe in not just calling them....but burning down their house! (not literally of course)
BTW, my attitude is longstanding.....their power is corrosive, their myth-making is hypnotic. They are poison to us, our children and young people.
We should give them no quarter, ever.
Their incest skit was done to foist another bag of freakishness on Palin...it had zero to do with the NYT, (who is on their side).
Again, my attitude has evidence to back it up.
Look at the polls.
Look at the elections.
Look at the actual record of the reputations that SNL/MSM have ruined. This “funny” stuff sticks forever.
And tell me where Conservatives have any influence?
They public says they don't like negative ads either, but they work everytime.....as does the MSM.

That skit isn’t listed.
Everything else is. Wonder why?

Their incest skit was done to foist another bag of freakishness on Palin. That is absurd. They were trashing the Times on a number of levels, but you think them using this extreme subject matter would stick to Palin, but not the Times.
Once again, did you view the video. Please tell me you didn't, because I don't want to know you did and still think along these lines.

I looked too and its not there. Things that make you go hmmmmmm? Every other skit from last night's show appears to be available. Perhaps the NYT and old media didn't find their SNL treatment particularly humorous, and they expressed a preference that this skit be ushered into a memory hole.
To: DoughtyOne
Ok, I get it.
SNL’s Dims are cool and funny for making a free commercial, written by a Democratic Senate candidate, that calls McCain a fear-mongering old man who hates brown people.
And making fun of the NYT finding out that the Republican VP candidates husband could have raped his daughters!
Wow, what fun.
I hope I'm in the “in” crowd now!

SNLs Dims are cool and funny for making a free commercial, written by a Democratic Senate candidate, that calls McCain a fear-mongering old man who hates brown people. That is not at all what I have been stating, and I don't appreciate one bit you inferring that I did. I have not said the SNL staff is cool or funny across the board. On these threads I have stated that I did not like the McCain skit, and that I thought it was poorly acted. So other than that, you're right on target here.
And making fun of the NYT finding out that the Republican VP candidates husband could have raped his daughters! That is not what the skit related at all. The skit showed a reporter who slandered the whole state of Alaska by saying, "The dad has got to be doing those girls. I can't believe he isn't doing those girls. Come one, I mean this is Alaska!" It was staged to show just how absurd the charge was. The reporter was asked if he had any proof, and that was his comeback. He didn't have proof and admitted it. And then the Assignment Manager told him to look into it anyway. It was staged to show how absurd the reporters, assignment managers, and editorial staff were.
Wow, what fun. Good grief. You didn't have any idea what this skit was about. You don't have the facts right. And then you try to spin this as me running inferference to excuse a skit that served our cause whether you want to admit it or not.
I hope I'm in the in crowd now! This isn't about humor. It isn't about being in the in-crowd. It's about being a Conservative and recognizing a skit on a widely watched program that outed the NY Times and the Pulitzer committee for how they operate.
It just happens to be the best job of outing part of the MSM that I have ever seen.

The video is gone, unfortunately.
To: DoughtyOne
Let’s see....
The MSM claims that the GOP is keeping Palin hidden.
Palin disinvited to anti-Ahmadinejad rally (but it was OK to invite Hillary, and I wonder what politicians will be deemed sufficiently ideologically in line with NY libs to be the speakers)
NCB pulls anti-NYT video from youtube but leaves all the others.
They are for free speech, as long as they like what is being said. And they are for “choice” too....

Yes, sadly it is. I’ll keep an eye on NBC’s SNL sight and link the clip in if it comes up.

Their incest skit was done to foist another bag of freakishness on Palin...it had zero to do with the NYT, (who is on their side). I don't want to pile on too much, since you already have your critics, but even if SNL intended it to be a slam on Palin, which I would argue it isn't , its effect is entirely to bash the press, and Palin escapes scott free. In fact, they are barely even in the sketch.
It was almost a modern comedic version of the parable between Jesus, the prostitute, and the cynical crowd that wanted her to be stoned. The crowd was willing to stone Palin, but ended up disintegrating because no one among them could be found to throw the first stone. The one who accuses Todd of incest is himself revealed to be a pre-op transsexual who can't make the trip to Alaska because there are probably no facilities for him there.
One could also argue that this was Blazing Saddles style vulgarity. That movie was filled with racism towards the black Sheriff Bart, but none of it was allow to stick to him. It would always backfire on the villans, or the ignorant townsfolk, which was the comedic point.

You can lead a FReeper to humor, but you can’t make them laugh.
