and this matters, why? I’m far more interested in Pennsyvania, Ohio , Michigan and Virginia.
0bama up 49-44 among Demoncrats...at Berkley.
Ouch. I can’t wait for the debates. Too much media filtering going on now. The debates, like the conventions, will give the candidates a chance to address the voters directly. I like our chances better then.
thanks for posting though, tatown.
That graphic makes me laugh every time I see it!
That will change after the weekend. This is still a fallout of the economic beating. Now that it has been revealed this started with Fannie Mac...AND Obamas own Raines....it will change.
“and this matters, why? Im far more interested in Pennsyvania, Ohio , Michigan and Virginia.”
And don’t forget Wisconsin and Iowa. They’re comin’ around!
This is no time to go wobbly, FReepers!
What I mean is that Gallup does not weight their results, so maybe the type of people that are more willing to answer a pollster call during a time like this lean Democratic, and Rasmussen weights his results by using assumed party identification numbers. AKA, Gallup may be rather volatile to "events".
haha..quick, someone pull the plug on Zero’s teleprompter.
Who are these people????
McCain-Palin striking back HARD today - this won’t continue.
McCain went from even to -2 to -4 to -5 in the last 4 Gallup trackers. This is consistent with him being in -5 range for the last 3 days.
Rasmussen still shows it even, but his party ID numbers may be too optimistic, since they include the RNC bounce, which is now dissipating.
Gallup may be a bit volatile, since they did not normalize the sample, but together with the recent state polls it is quite clear that McCain is at least 2-3 points behind. The AIG/FNM/FRE ordeal really hurt the ticket.
If Obama’s lead stays in the current range, there is a good chance the race will tighten after the first debate. Also, a calm week or two in the markets would be a big help. If not, Obama is a shoe-in.
In any case, the next president inherits a huge mess. I almost wish Obama gets to deal with it, but he will use it as an excuse for New Deal 2.0, and we all know how New Deal 1.0 worked.
There. Fixed.
Osama’s promise of welfare handouts to the deadbeat leftists, carries water with their empty heads. I’m more interested in the electoral college and people attacking Comrade Osama for his terrorist ties and Mother Russia policies.
Great picture! Great Post! Keep it handy becasue i think you’re going to need to post it often between now and election day.
On Nov. 4th, Americans will have to REALLY choose between these two men. I doubt that the majority will choose Obama.
But if they do, oh well. My life does not really depend on who the Presidnet is. I chart my own course, with help from The Almighty.
No question that the debates are important, and I look forward to McCain getting a chance to speak directly to the American people. If the country still blindly walks off the cliff with Obama after the debates have completed, then we simply have to take heart in the fact that it is in God's hands.
