JUNEAU, Alaska (AP) Alaska's attorney general says state employees subpoenaed in the investigation of Gov. Sarah Palin will not testify.
In a letter to the Democratic state senator overseeing the investigation, Attorney General Talis Colberg asks that the subpoenas be withdrawn. He also says the employees will not appear before the investigator unless either the full state Senate or the entire Alaska Legislature votes to compel their testimony.

Yep, the irony is that Ehrlich was exonerated and the O’Malley administration was later guilty of their own illegal firing.
McCAIN IN OHIO TODAY:
And lets have some straight talk. Senator Obama is not interested in the politics of hope, hes interested in his political future and thats why he is hurling in insults and making up facts about his record.
Today, he claimed that the Congressional stimulus package was his idea. Thats news to those of us in Congress who supported it. Senator Obama didnt even show up to vote.
He talks a tough game on the financial crisis, but the facts tell a different story. Senator Obama took more money from Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac than anyone but the chairman of the committee they answer to, and he put Fannie Maes CEO, who helped create this problem in charge of finding his Vice President. Thats not change, thats whats broken in Washington.
Is this now a standing order by the AG?
Good thinking, we’re stationed in Hawaii and the Dems here aren’t like the crazies in most states. Example:
I have had my McCain sticker on my suv for more than three weeks and no one has keyed it. That’s an accomplishment in a VERY blue state.
If Todd Palin took the fifth (refused to testify on grounds that his testimony might incriminate him), that would give the RAT propaganda machine a lot of ammunition. It would be better if he testified and avoided their traps.
My wife and her brother, who lives with us, are pro-Obama. They both said, “What’s she got to hide? If she’s innocent, why not just let the investigation complete?” They both ignored me when I tried to connect the cronyism dots.
I practically came out of my chair when I heard this on Greta. Good for the AG and good for Alaska. They don’t need a bunch o’furiners from the lower 48 stirring up trouble. Let Alaskans take care of Alaska!
It was nice of French Hollis to help us out by playing such a blatantly partisan hand. Without his interference in the subpoena process, this investigation might continue.
Now, there will just be the official executive investigation, which should exonerate Palin since she did nothing wrong.
I was glad to hear such an articulate man with such a great grasp on the whole picture rolling up his sleeves and getting ready to kick a$$ and take names. It's a beautiful thang...!
Not quite....
1).. Todd is on his Alaskan Crab fishing boat....will gone for a month....would you like to hire a helicopter to fly out in the Bearing Sea to deliver the subpoena?
2).Sorry Todd has left for the Alaskan Dog Sled race....he will be back in a couple of weeks....would you like to hire a bush pilot to take you out in the wilderness to deliver the papers?
3)....So Sorry.....Todd is on his annual pilgrimage to meet with village elders of his Eskimo tribe....somewhere up in the Arctic Circle.....he may also be on a ceremonial whale hunt...expected back in a couple of months or three....
Welcome baker...I lived in half-moon bay for 6 years back in the 80’s...
McCain really said that?
The Obama media will do this anyway. Instead of feeding the monster, it is much better to kill it with extreme prejudice, and then tell your story yourself rather than as part of a kangeroo court consisting of Obama partisans. Today the McCain campaign released e-mails, correspondence, and other documents showing that Palin fired the guy because he was insubordinate, opposed her spending proposals, and worked against her behind her back. Not that any decent person is going to blame the Palins for also being angry that this cretin wouldn't fire that trooper either.
Lucky you! The liberals are so vicious here.
“I recommend going to a local coffee shop on the morning McCain/Palin are elected (I had a Bush 2004 hat on) and enjoy the looks they give you, it’s great.”
great post...that does sound like alot of fun :)
