JUNEAU, Alaska (AP) Alaska's attorney general says state employees subpoenaed in the investigation of Gov. Sarah Palin will not testify.
In a letter to the Democratic state senator overseeing the investigation, Attorney General Talis Colberg asks that the subpoenas be withdrawn. He also says the employees will not appear before the investigator unless either the full state Senate or the entire Alaska Legislature votes to compel their testimony.

Obama and his minions must not play much poker.

It is about time this stupid witch hunt got shut down. This is the same tactic Obama has tried in his other races - trying to force opponents off the ballot.

Sounds like some folks have had enough BS.

This is a good thing. These employees should not be asked to testify when everyone knows that this is just a fishing expedition by the Alaskan “good old boys” network. Why needlessly open yourself up to “perjury” charges. That’s what a fiasco like this is usually all about anyway. They issue subpoenas when they don’t have anything else.

Thank you for posting this article.
So, the Alaska AG is telling this Democratic Hanging Committee to stick it.
I am impressed.

It looks like the investigation is dead. The Alaska Legislature is controlled by the GOP and it would have to vote to enforce any subpoenas. Not going to happen.

It’s been happening to everyone. I am sure Jim and staff are working on it. They are installing some new servers to deal with the ever increasing load, and that might be the source of the double posts.

What’s worse is when you throw a lynching party and people show up... except instead of lynching the intended victim, they lynch *you*.
