Despite her meteoric rise and popularity, could Sarah Palin's fate be equated to "Death by a thousand cuts"? In other words, could the constant daily barrage of of negative stories in the media and attacks by the Obama campaign induce, by their sheer volume and repetition, Palin fatigue? Is this possibly the strategy of the media: to cause those who might consider voting for her to decide it is just too much baggage? It may not matter that people believe the stories about Gov Palin or true or false, but simply that there is so much negative noise in the system that people grow weary of such a controversial figure and not want to endure what comes with it for the next four years.

The Democrats/MSM/LIBS are in a Paradoxical position.
The more they try to ignore, the more they have to be aggressive and lose, like a dog chasing his own tail and don't know when to stop.

More and more I become convinced that perhaps, GOD orchestrated ( to arrange or combine so as to achieve a desired or maximum effect ) this.

and the MSM/DEMS/OBAMA-Biden as Hamann.
As I said in a early post about a week or more ago when the DEMS/MSM went after Sarah Palin's baby and daughter, that GOD takes a attack in his servants and children as a personal attack on him..... GOD is very PO'ed by them attacking her Downs Syndrome baby.
Do you think GOD will actually let them get away with that ?

America loves an underdog and they’ve taken Sarah under their wing. It’s like the bully in school that keeps on agitating your sister until you get involved. You escort her everyday to class, lunch etc. You tell friends to keep an eye out for your little sister etc.

People WANT to see Palin succeed. People WANT to hold her hand as she goes from one class to the next. Palin is a victim and does NOT want to be. She never addresses jerks like Gibson in a negative way. She does the interview and let’s people judge for themselves. He came across as a bully as will Biden.

These constant rants from the media about Palin are also the same old a$#holes from Hollywood. Sarandon, Clooney et al. Just remember how far Kerry and Gore got on Hollywood endorsements and media hype and they’re men(sort of).

America doesn’t like a woman being picked on. Especially not one that they completely identify with and consider a part of the family.

Likeability is what gets people elected. Palin is as likeable as you can get.

I agree. I think they’ll shoot their wad with that. They will try and paint her as the most corrupt, evil creature that ever drew breath. Be prepared. There will be no pretense at truth. They want her and anyone like her gone...destroyed. Awe hell, they hate her so much, I believe they want her dead. There I said it. And I believe it.

You may find this interesting. My wife likes John McCain but she would not have voted for him if he picked Mitt Romney for VP. My wife is pro choice by the way but she tends to vote Republican and she would not have voted for Obama as she feels he treats women in a condescending way. Now she's all for McCain and Palin and feels that it was a brilliant choice by McCain. I don't think that all of the attacks on Palin will work because she seems to be genuine and appeals to both men and women. Many female voters will see the attacks for what they are and will be turned off by them.
This will draw them to the McCain/Palin ticket.

There have been far more stories done over the past 20 months on the Obamamessiah, and yet even then not even a majority feel that there has been too much coverage, lofty and fluff though it may be.

When one makes baseless attacks on a person, it engenders not just sympathy, but support for those who are perceived as being unjustly attacked. This is the case with Sarah Palin. People see through her detractors and accusations for what they are, and are eager to learn more, IOW, the truth.

So fatigue? No, most likely the next two months will be spent dealing with the smears being put out and our desire to find out the RIGHT answer.

The other goal of the smears is to make McCain and/or Palin to lose their cool. Or, at least, someone linked to them. I don't think this is going to happen, but it will be toughest 50 days in the their political life. This season all previous mud throwing records will be smashed by the Left.

I think you bring up a valid topic....in the beginning when all these BS smears against her character came out in just the first weekend I thought, “they (the media) are just going to throw as much sh!t on the wall as possible and hope that either some of it sticks or the American people will be so fed up they won’t want her in office”....
