Let's not forget that it was this moron who was Carter's National Security Adviser and as such was responsible for forcing Israel to give successions to Islamofascism AND betraying the Shah of Iran (who was America's greatest ally other than Israel in the region).
The real threat of Islamofascism exists in large part due to the incompetence and near-treason of Carter and Brzezinski.
When it comes to an appeasement foreign policy, Brzezinski makes Chamberlain look like Churchill.
