Obama poked fun of McCain and Palin's new "change" mantra.
"You can put lipstick on a pig," he said as the crowd cheered. "It's still a pig."
"You can wrap an old fish in a piece of paper called change. It's still gonna stink."
"We've had enough of the same old thing."
The crowd apparently took the "lipstick" line as a reference to Palin, who described the difference between a hockey mom and a pit bull in a single word: "lipstick."
Make sure this stays in the front page of all news reports. Let’s see how women react to this. To women, these are sexist terms, the latter almost as offensive as the “N” word is to African Americans (my wife’s jaw is still on the floor after reading this.)
I guess this is the ‘change’ Obama has promised.
I’m sure his muslim brethren will love the pig quote.
And the anniversary of Sept. 11 is two days away.

The McCain/Palin response must be related to muslims and their fear of pigs.
Does anyone know if the Demagogues (legally) CAN change candidates now? I know we joke about them “pulling a Toricelli” with either Obama or Biden, but what are the legal aspects of that once a candidate has been nominated by the convention? Can the party really substitute a different candidate without calling another convention?
