I totally agree. Someone needs to tell him not to be so outrageously disingenuous tho...it's a little much.
In my small detachment of 15 here in Southern Spain 0 of 15 support Obama. Our host base of a little over 100, and according to our recent CFC poll, 100% of this base supports McCain/Palin. I’d love to meet the “troops” that support Obama.

I thought Dr Dean was at least minimally educated. He is pointing to a very old and thoroughly dissected “BLOG” which had a very misleading lead-in statement. In the comments tha follow the blog, it was clarified by one of the analysts working for the center who collected the FEC “raw” data that TROOPS MEANT ANYONE who listed the DOD as their employer on the FEC form.
Dr. Dean either has NOT READ the comments of the analyst or
he hopes others won’t read anything but the first sentence, thus enabling him to FALSELY CLAIM the 6:1 donation junk.
It’s not as it seems and my guess is Dr. Dean knows this. His party is going down in flames, thanks largely to his ineptness. He has to try to find a brotherhood somewhere. Leave it to a Democrat to use the military once again, to wipe their feet on.

Howard needs to be educated..yet again.
As a military mom, I had a son in the army during Clinton.
Conditions and pay were deplorable. Families treated as nuisances.
Another son is in the Air Force now. What a difference George Bush made. Pay is better, benefits better, and families are now treated like they are part of the team.
A very stark contrast between the Dem President and the Republican President.
Under Bush....we do matter. Something else the media will not tell you.
Sez who? You see these facts and figures all the time, sometimes with a cursory crediting, but usually just made as fact and the article moves on to build additional ‘facts’ on the first one.
In any event it wouldn't be that difficult for them to have a lot money given through straw donations in the name of military people.
I have questioned most of the figures that have been presented almost daily for a year and a half now. Obama collected this, or that. Does anyone ever check these claims to see if they hold water?
If anything is counter-intuitive based on the military people I know it's the idea that somehow those in uniform are Obama supporters.
I ask again, “Oh yeh? Sez who!”
It looks more like Ole Joe may have a relapse of his brain troubles!
As regards my personal experience, I have met nobody in uniform who is supporting Obama. Most of my experience however is with an older combat arms demographis, primarily soldiers. Perhaps the other services have supported Obama, I don't know.
