Gaffe - Obama said “my Muslim religion” on an ABC show today. It has been all over the blogosphere. Not sure if it was a gaffe or freudian slip.

Folks we are seeing some serious media backlash here (finally).

Now if this NYT “expose” is actually Palin positive or somewhat neutral, you know there is something going on.

Remember, the “jerk” was bit*h slapped by GW when he was trying to ask questions in French. Since then David has been attending to his p’s and q’s and watching the Chrissy and Olderfuhrer go at each other, and now gets the teacher’s pet appointment to preside over the chaos.

Don’t know much about Gregory except he beat up Scott McClellan - but that’s not that tough.

Gregory is the twit who asked Bush a question in French at a joint press conference with Sarkozy. Bush replied, "Very good. The guy memorizes four words and he thinks he's intercontinental."

Ironically, Gregory is the least gay of the three.

I wonder if they asked their viewer what he thinks about the change.

***********ROVE, YOU MAGNIFICIENT BASTARD!!************

Let's give credit where credit is due. Senator McCain has taken a lot of abuse, some of it unwarranted from many on the right. But it was his decision to make regarding Governor Palin. If he were truly a RINO like many call him here, he would have selected someone else.

In the issues that matter most to Americans not at the extremes of their respective parties, terrorism, defense, abortion, taxes, and government spending, Senator McCain is on the right side of these issues. God bless the man for his service (and continues service) to our country.

Olberman is unusually quiet tonight on NBC football. I hope I don’t have to put up with him on football for the rest of the season.

The head honchos are starting to learn there is a line that can be passed. It took them long enough.

Maybe it’s time for a staff meeting.

MSNBC tried a bold experiment this year by putting two politically incendiary hosts, Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews, in the anchor chair to lead the cable news channel’s coverage of the election.

That experiment appears to be over.

After months of accusations of political bias and simmering animosity between MSNBC and its parent network NBC, the channel decided over the weekend that the NBC News correspondent and MSNBC host David Gregory would anchor news coverage of the coming debates and election night. Mr. Olbermann and Mr. Matthews will remain as analysts during the coverage.

The change — which comes in the home stretch of the long election cycle — is a direct result of tensions associated with the channel’s perceived shift to the political left.

“The most disappointing shift is to see the partisan attitude move from prime time into what’s supposed to be straight news programming,” said Davidson Goldin, formerly the editorial director of MSNBC and a co-founder of the reputation management firm DolceGoldin.
