MSNBC tried a bold experiment this year by putting two politically incendiary hosts, Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews, in the anchor chair to lead the cable news channels coverage of the election.
That experiment appears to be over.
After months of accusations of political bias and simmering animosity between MSNBC and its parent network NBC, the channel decided over the weekend that the NBC News correspondent and MSNBC host David Gregory would anchor news coverage of the coming debates and election night. Mr. Olbermann and Mr. Matthews will remain as analysts during the coverage.
The change which comes in the home stretch of the long election cycle is a direct result of tensions associated with the channels perceived shift to the political left.
The most disappointing shift is to see the partisan attitude move from prime time into whats supposed to be straight news programming, said Davidson Goldin, formerly the editorial director of MSNBC and a co-founder of the reputation management firm DolceGoldin.

LOL!
Outstanding graphic. I’ve long maintained that Matthews and Olbermann were having a vicious dispute about who got to perform Obama’s ablutions. I guess things got a little heated over at MSLSD. Matthews and Olbermann were by long odds the most servile and sycophantic of Obama’s worshipers. There was no pretense of objectivity. I suspect Bryan Williams and Tom Brokaw finally got angry enough to intervene. NBC has become the laughing stock of journalism.

you so funny....
Somehow he also anchors Sunday Night Football which also has Bob Costas who doesn’t anchor... figure that out....
but anyway he will be on at half-time in about 2 minutes on NBC it will be funny to see if he just got the news what his mood may be....
I just dropped Olberman from my TV. When I saw him on SNF, I turned on the Mets vs.Phillies.
Obldork was seated as part of the team on tonight’s pre game show. He was only the color guy last year.
I changed the channel.
Agreed. . .LOL
The incredibly strong reaction from ordinary Republicans and citizens to rally behind her after the press attacked her, the size of the rallies now, convinced they need to start covering their backsides.
They still love Obama, but when it comes down to it, they want ratings and advertisers more than anything.
ROFL ROFL ROFL!!!!!
That picture summarizes this election season nicely with regard to the media!!!
Nothing quite so amusing as a moonbat throwing a tantrum....they get so emotional when they feel betrayed.
please no

this will demoralize the left
