Lincoln was widely disliked and vilified during his presidency too. I agree with your assessments of the republicans but history will be kind to George W. Bush.
You can bet her bed-do has been focused-grouped six ways from Sunday and it’s to get the younger potential voters’ attention.
But the point she makes in the explanation is valid. The GOP is going to lose in the long run if they don’t realize the need to address it.

This was Karl’s advice, which seems kinda dumb to me-—and I know Karl is not stupid. But he won two elections really without playing too much to the middle. In fact, in 04, it was all about getting out the base.
