The speechwriters must have taken a vacation after last evening stellar speeches.
These so far tonight are dull.

She’s become so confounding, since W.
I think she feels some sort of
arrogant ownership of all things
presidential and the official
forensic analyst of presidential
and political oratory
Now with the women of wowowow .. all
rotten libs ... I think she’s been
corrupted by their culture and NYC
values, and been converted to elitistism.
So, what was her core anyway? Sad

There was a video that was linked on FR a few days ago that came from an Alaskan tourist host. He went walking to work with Gov. Palin from her house to the State House in Juneau. Antway, when he got to her office, they were standing in front of her desk and talking. My wife and I both noticed, stuck in the left side of her window sill was a small Israeli flag.
So, that’s not a rumor...it’s true. As for the pin...that, I don’t know.

If the Toastmasters sold tuition coupons, I’d send Ridge a book of the damn things.
My miniature poodle Scoobie is a more compelling speaker, and all he says is ARRRHH!
ARRRHH! ARRRHH!
ARRRHH! ARRRHH! ARRRHH! ARRRHH!
ARRRHH! ARRRHH! ARRRHH!
ARRRHH! ARRRHH!
ARRRHH!

Hes the running joke of the Carolinas. Along with John Edwards, of course."I don't know who's baby that is. That could be anybody's baby!"

I was in church with Ridge last Sunday. His son played on my youth soccer team. He is visiting. Doesn't live here anymore.
Great guy Tom Ridge but he would not have been a good VP. Boring.

He is dull. After one very good evening and one great evening, this is a bit of a letdown.

Rush also repeated his advice on a phone call in to Neil Cavuto’s show today—that, just for today, McCain would not emphasize “reaching across the aisle”. He said John should offer to work with any Dems that were left after the election (snort).
And yes, I am relieved none of these yawners were the VP pick.
Palin as VP is inspired. God is indeed merciful.
