Last Day Folks! Thanks for letting me do the threads.
Last night was GREAT! You can tell by the amount of slime that is being thrown us. Break out the poopcorn, it's going to be another late night!
If we have an amnesty, there will be a very bleak future—one which even Sarah Palin would have a difficult time changing. You can’t unring a bell.
“Having a lot of babies is acting like animals? The origninal poster is talking about people from overseas, not from south of the border.”
I’m in Houston, so forgive me if I am a little touchy on the illegal alien subject....I’m slapped in the face with it everyday. And yes, some act like animals when they keep popping babies out for me to pay for. Again no offense to you.
McCain’s too busy assuring us that his “reaching across the aisle” shtick is going to continue. I’m going to be sick!
Maybe ACORN can change your mind.
Good thing you’re there to help.
We need young people who are not fry brains to see what life is really about.
I have McCain on mute. I’m already sold on this party. Palin sealed the deal for me but I was for McCain anyways. I don’t know why the F there are still people complaining about McCain? It’s either McCain or Obama.....
Internally inconsistent. If Gov. Palin has united the party, why would we all run off again just because McCain is being what McCain has always been? And he does change his position when presented with the facts: offshore drilling is an example; build the fence first is another.
That is true.
He just said that he would reach his hand out across the aisle. (We all know what he meant when he said “anyone”.) Seriously, why do we have this guy? Look at what we saw last night. I don’t want any more of this wimpy, “working with people” b.s. I want a guy who’s one step shy of literally looking into the camera, saying “Hey Democrats!” and giving the finger in the middle of this speech.
Obama can’t touch this part!
You are wrong, my friend...people have tears in their eyes. He never tells this story; it is quite fitting tonight. Hasn’t he earned the right?
At the end of the day, it’s not about whether or not I agree with McCain, I’m sure there are a lot of things I may not see eye-to-eye with him on.
But the bottom line is this, who is the better leader, and who has the better character, and sense of judgement?
There can be absolutely no question whatsoever, that it is McCain, over Obama.
Bud Day????
My niece and nephew are now living in NYC. They love it but I think my niece wants to move to Los Angeles. She misses her car!
He’s not that good of a speaker but man, that POW story is just so incredibly compelling in and of itself that it makes the speech.
History didn’t ‘annoint’ me to be President...good one!
You forgot Obamian.. It kept falling apart so they stopped using it.
I feel we need an effective Guest Worker program , no amnesty for illegals and a Constitutional Amendment that defines the anchor baby scam , err...issue
” and I broke... and I was ashamed... but a fellow prisoner saved me with taps on a wall... no one can stand alone for long”
This is a powerful story. Admitting his shame, embarrassment. Tough to do. Wonderful.
