The Vice President is the candidate who gives the red meat speech and the Presidential candidates gives this type of speech. Maybe if some of you had paid attention to conventions in the past you would understand instead of whine, whine, whine.

This is exactly the type of speech that is needed to attract Indy and conservative Dems BECAUSE as Republicans we do not have to the votes without them to elect the President.

Ditto to that. I did notice that when he said the oil companies wouldn't be getting any more unfair advantages (or whatever it was), a sudden hush descended on the room. Bashing big oil may not be a good thing in this crowd - time for some "drill, baby, drill."
