Video link to Rudy Giuliani RNC speech

Due to Rudy's adlibbing, posting the transcript of his speech doesn't do it justice.

Giuliani's speech has been eclipsed by Palin's, and understandably.

But Rudy gave a great speech, and definitely worth watching again.

Like him or not, Rudy’s speech was amazing. He was great. I wish he’d convert to pro-life conservative.

Did you ask permission to post a ‘Rudy’ speech. Giving Rudy any positives is allowing yourself to be attacked and ridiculed and if you don’t repent - you can be banned.

Rudy did give a good speech and he didn’t want to upstage our new VP, Sarah and rightfully so. Hopefully, Rudy will get a good spot in McCain’s administration. He’s a corruption fighter just like Sarah. Like TNYT and all the liberals hated Rudy they added one more to their hate list last night.

Giuliani took enough classes at the Manhattan Institute. He should have great speech delivery. Too bad the professors were SDS.

.....I wish he’d convert ....

I agree. To understand him - I think of him as a permissive father - you can do as you wish - I may not agree w/it but I will not prevent you from learning the hard way. I will not trash you, I'll still love you and will be your friend.

He has shown more love to those that are condemned for their actions than anyone else I've seen in the public arena. Love covers a multitude of sins.

McC better not get any bright ideas about Guiliani in his admin----you know RINO Rooty is angling to be USAG.

A STROLL DOWN MEMORY LANE WITH MAYOR ROOTY:

......announcing he was divorcing his wife without telling her and their kids first

........dumping his wife and kids in the streets to move his mistress into the mayoral mansion

.....concealing his mistress' upkeep in city agencies

......escorting his mistress to offical mayoral functions while his wife and kids were residing in the mayoral mansion

........living with a gay couple and advancing the gay agenda

......his abortion worship, donating to PParenthood, being honored by NARAL.

(NOTE As mayor, Giuli had NO legislative platform to advance abortion and the gay agenda---Giuli did so out of his enormous support for these horrendous activities.

....... making NYC a sanctuary city for illegals

GIULIANI COLLABORATED TO UNDERMINE US NATIONAL SECURITY

Here's Giuli's idea of "border security." Giuliani used eminent domain (w/ Texas Gov Perry) to take US properties from taxpayers and give them to foreign entities.

NEWS STORY Bracewell & Giuliani Firm Advises Cintra in First Privatization of Toll Road in Texas
DALLAS (March 1, 2007) Bracewell & Giuliani LLP (Rudy's Texas-based law firm with global connections) advised Cintra Concesiones de Infraestructuras de Transporte, S.A., a Spanish transportation company, in its successful bid to develop State Highway 121 into a toll road through Collin and Denton counties ("trade road" is four football fields wide). The award to Cintra, approved by the Texas Transportation Commission, is the first privatization of a Texas toll road. Bracewell is acting as project counsel to Cintra with respect to the 50-year concession from the Texas Department of Transportation. Cintra will pay a $2.1 billion upfront and annual lease payments totaling $700 million. "Cintra was awarded this project because of its proven expertise and competitive proposal," said Thomas O. Moore, partner with Bracewell & Giuliani. "This is the largest transportation deal of 2007. This is one of only five deals in the country."

During the pre-primary season I blasted Rudy and his supporters repeatedly here on FR. Last night's speech by Rudy, however, was superb. It was a devastating attack on BHO and a forceful case for McCain.

I don’t know what the visceral hate towards Rudy is here, but you have to admit, that was one hell of a speech.

He did it in such a wonderfully mocking way. It couldn’t have been more perfect if he had just sat there laughing every time Obama’s name came up.

They (libs) hate humor, and they hate being belittled. Rudy did both in such a wonderful way.

Rudy’s speech was absolutely AMAZING!

He told us how the world really is and who is going to protect us against the Isalamic Fundamentalists. Funny how Obama and Biden both have forgotten about 9/11.

He had the Convention electrified. I didn’t think his speech could be topped, and then out stepped Sara Palin!

WHAT A NIGHT FOR THE GOP!!!

I was impressed with Giuliani’s relaxed but well focused speech. He enjoyed delivering it, I enjoyed listening to it. In my estimation, it was second only to that of the next Vice President’s masterpiece.

I totally agree. It seems the McCain campaign has made a distinct effort to get all of his former rivals to speak on his behalf at the RNC to show part unity.

Thanks for posting. I had a copy of the written speech and he went off the charts when he went on his own with the speech.

Some things never change on here and the people doing the attacks once again look the same as before and worse now since he is not running for President.

What are they afraid of now? All they did was make me laugh! To be so irrational when he is not running is way too funny!

Nonetheless, I’m going to pray for his conversion. God outranks SDS professors. :>)

Love your tagline. Saw another one yesterday that said “Hunter for SecDef”

He would be a great one.

I’m betting, though, that McCain taps Petraeus as SecDef. Petraeus pulled this out of the fire, and to be honest, there’s no place he can really go. Chief of Staff of the Army or Chairman of the Joint Chiefs is actually a move to some desk job. If he’s gonna do a desk job, he might as well be in charge....secdef.
