Well, when I got up to Alaska, I didn’t see the sign, but I was told by some fellow pilots (way’back when) that there was a sign put up at an Eielson AFB swimming hole “Swimming forbidden if air temperature is below 10 degrees” or some such.

I sat here in amazement as he showed Obama for what he is and why he wasn’t ready to be President. Coming from the Dem VP only 8 years ago has to leave a mark.

Have any of these media mush-heads ever stopped to think that just maybe, President Bush asked to have a small role at the convention? George W. Bush is a humble man, and no Bill Clinton. He doesn't have to revel in himself. It may just be that W requested to take a backseat so that the convention would be all about McCain. The Dems have been running this campaign against Bush since they started their primaries. Now they're pitting Obama against Palin. They can't even figure out who their nominee for President is, or who his opponent is. In fact, their own candidates don't even know what office their running for.

What causes people to misunderestimate Lieberman is his aw-shucks hang-dog style. It's avuncular to the point of grandfatherliness. But it permits him to say the most devastating things without outraging people. It's only afterward that you realize just what he said.
Obama has two pillars to his candidacy, and using his aw-shucks hang-dog style, Lieberman sawed them both off.
Howard Wolfson's comment told volumes. Hillary's voters are up for grabs, and Lieberman is part of a plan to go for them.
