Ditto that. If Jerry Falwell were alive today, I think he would support the Palin family right now. Falwell was a Godsend to single pregnant women in this area. Hearing that the couple will marry would have delighted him. Since Falwell was leader of the Moral Majority, I think it’s worth noting. Even HE was not ‘hateful’ the way the left made him out to be.
Welcome judgment and judge, or our 50% rate of fatherless children will become even worse. Broken homes create bad students, one disruptive student will ruin the education of thirty. Out falling SAT scores show the result of such lack of judgment and lack of training the young how and why to make such judgments.
One of my favorite college football coaches is a strong Catholic and believer in family values. He's very conservative and reportedly a republican although I don't know that. When my team went through some tough spells last year and some players had bad games, he refused to bash them and name names to the press. He had a quote that stayed with me.
"We build people up. We don't tear down people here."
That's the attitude the Palin family has taken, and is the correct course to take. That's not to say that this should be condoned, but the most important thing now is how the situation is handled. It is handled the right way. Build people up and not tear them down. It is how I'd handle this as a grandfather if that happens before I expect it to.

While I agree about broken homes, what is worse it abortion. Tearing down every case of unplanned pregnancies will lead to the greatest evil of all. Murder.
I wager that this pregnant teen will tell other teens what a mistake she made, and perhaps she might add that it’s not the end of the world to be a mother so young, but not the greatest thing to be either. Good can come out of this.
Then why are you defending Xenalyte who has been one of the two or three main people attacking Bristol and her mother Sarah from the beggining of this thread. She attacked the idea someone had to be positive and throw a baby shower when the baby came and suggested that we should instead shame Bristol and other girls who end up in the same situation.

Right now there are confused teens killing their babies right after birth. They don’t see any difference between that and abortion. Come to think of it, Barackula doesn’t see the difference either ....
