It was to be expected that the left wing smear machine would go into overdrive upon the announcement of Governor Palin as John McCain's veep nomination. What was not expected was how unbelievably low they would be willing to go.

Several lefty outlets including Daily Kos and Democratic Underground that are running with the smear saying that Governor Palin's youngest son

evidently it is discussed on the Sunday morning talk shows live thread. That’s my recollection. I did not see the show or the encounter.

These creeps that are spreading this junk will have to answer for their hatred.
I attend a very large mega-church and the discussion during the sermon was a big positive for Palin. They didn't endorse her but came as close as they could without breaking the law.

I have been having a hour long debate at alan colmes web site. The latest...Sarah went on the flight to abort her baby the natural way.

I just don’t know Martha - I’m sure we’ll find out soon enough. I wouldn’t rule it out though, nor the possibility that rushing that flight without medical care was a last desperate attempt to lose the baby in an accidental and blame-free way (ie a ‘fundie abortion). I’d even accept the possibility that she’s just an airhead who didn’t give any thought to the consequences of her actions.

Whatever, I’d be willing to bet there are some anxious people at McCain HQ waiting for these rumours to be quashed.

I have my money on the mormon if and when the position becomes vacant again :)

Seriously, how is it possible for Skeletor, Sullie and the Kossacks to keep straight faces while they simultaneously push two utterly contradictory smears: Palin faked her pregnancy, and Palin's flying while pregnant was irresponsible. Even for leftards, that's an outstanding achievement in duplicity.

From what I remember, it was out there quite a bit back in the early summer (along with Bobby Jindal and Michael Steele), but the last month or so the ONLY names that really seemed to be touted were Romney, Pawlenty, Crist and Cantor. There was never any indication that Palin had been asked for any documents or vetted in any way.

I didn’t heat Donaldson rip Palin’s son. The only thing that was said was by Will who admired her decision to raise her son. Also, Cokie said that women will become pissed if criticism of her being a mom and VP-candidate continue.

Bottom line is, any woman that's had FOUR kids knows her own body during pregnancy. She knew herself and checked with her doctor.

The Dem's are all over this because they don't know what it's like to carry babies, they just abort and leave them to die in linen closets.

Andrew S. can be very good at analysis and reporting. In this case, two things come to mind:

1. Palin is against homosexual marriage.

2. Andrew S. is homosexual.

I think he just hates her in a knee jerk sort of way.
