The infection on Jim's right ankle flared up again about three weeks ago. They tried treating it with antibiotics but they had no effect.
When Jim went in on Wednesday for followup visit and possibly a new prescription, they admitted him for tests and intravenous antibiotics. He was told that he would be there until at least Monday.
They are not anticipating more surgery at this time.
Continue to mend and enjoy the great food :)
Continued prayers and well-wishes.
We are all behind you!
...and, as always, prayers UP!
you are in my prayers.
Home is where the heart is. Our prayers you are on your way home before the next rubber chicken, peas and carrots, and jello.
Dang! I am just gonna have to pray every single day for you. I'm too sick over politics now days to have you gettin' sick! Need you strong and healthy so you can lead this kick-butt army.

Lord God, we are tired of this, but we never tire of You!!!! Lord God, the only way through this one-more-time infection situation is to put our trust in You. You alone are God. You alone the Holy one. Lord God, continue to give the physicians Your wisdom and Jim and his family Your strength and perseverance. And now Lord God, send Your Spirit to do the work. We are DONE with this infection, which keeps festering. In Jesus’ name, be healed Jim. No more! All of us who are praying stand in the authority Jesus gave us by the power of His blood shed on the cross and His name and say NO MORE! In Jesus’ name, infection be gone! Lord God, more of Your Spirit poured out upon Jim, more, more, more. You are the only One with healing power. By You Jim is healed. We stand on it and wait in joyful expectation for word of his improvement. We thank you, Father, Son and HOly Spirit. We bow to You, rest in You, rejoice in You. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
Here’s hoping you’re not sharing a room with a yellow dog democrat. The resulting high blood pressure wouldn’t help matters . . .
Prayers are on the way.

Jim, we all hope and pray you’re home today, healthy and strong, back at the helm and steering our internet ship through these choppy waters. 8~)
I'm praying for your swift recovery. We can't have our fearless leader down and out during what has suddenly become an exciting political season! I hope you'll be back with us soon.

THAT is no more than 250mg / 30 minute period.
I'm neither a doctor, nor do I portray one in any thespian forum and I've never stayed at a Holiday Inn Express. However, snybody tsking extra large doses of anything should discuss that deal with their personal physician(s).
That being said, everybody should consume enough water in some form so as to generate 1 qt of urine w/color every day. Its easy to comply with the "generation" its the "w/color" part that hard to measure up to.
Anybody taking more than 1gm Vit-C daily for a week (or two or so) should consider High-B adjunct supplements; its not a suggestion but an encouragement.
Short-term megadose Vit-C "shouldn't" be an issue provided no risk of kidney stones exist and adequate hydration is zealously sought.
ANY-term megadose of Vit-C should only be undertaken in view of adequate intake of leafy greens, and much roughage, i.e., soluable fiber. The first sign of Vit-C "overdose" is a "loose" stool. In that case back off either the amount per dose, or the dosing interval. Neverhteless, a diet that is sufficiently macrobiotic may not notice a short-term mega-dose of Vit-C.
If one has been taking megadoses of Vit-C for at least a week, NEVER go "cold-turkey". Never, ever, do that; relapse of symptoms will make your head spin 'round.
Let this be a notice to the powers that be that I'm praying for Jim Rob's personal situation, Jim Rob'd associates peace of mind, and the continued success of Jim Rob's love-child: Free Republic web-site.
I don't know what to tell anybody concerning the last part. However, I've been getting some serious hesitations lately.
I'm either wacked, i.e., physically in my head, or my machine is all screwed up, or somebody should know of my concerns.
