Guests to be interviewed today on major television talk shows:
FOX NEWS SUNDAY (Fox Network): John McCain; Mike Miller, director of operations for the Republican National Convention.
MEET THE PRESS (NBC): Gov. Tim Pawlenty, R-Minn., and Doris Kearns Goodwin, presidential historian.

THIS WEEK (ABC): Cindy McCain, wife of Republican presidential candidate Sen. John McCain; Sens. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., and John Kerry, D-Mass.
LATE EDITION (CNN) : Govs. Charlie Crist, R-Fla., Mark Sanford, R-S.C., and Tim Pawlenty, R-Minn.; former Sens. Fred Thompson, R-Tenn., and Tom Daschle, D-S.D.; Reps. John Boehner, R-Ohio, and Eric Cantor, R-Va.; Nancy Pfotenhauer, adviser to McCain; Sen. Christopher Dodd, D-Conn.; R. David Paulison, administrator of the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
McCain chose to attend the Naval Academy, knowing full well that he risked being deployed.
Yes, I'm just a college student, and I probably couldn't survive torture, but then again, can you? Can half the country do that? After all, most of us are just civilians who should shut up and dare not question former POWs because they are former POWs. We're just stupid sheeple, right?
To state that any vote McCain made is the senate eclipses his performance as a prisoner of war in Vietnam is to vomit liberalism.
Now here's the real problem.
Per you, McCain can do no evil because he was a POW in Vietnam.
That's just wrong.
“I didn’t realize this was a GOP orgy where freepers aren’t allowed to participate unless they ignore reality.
Carry on.”
Well, now you do. Act accordingly. We’re tryin’ to have fun here.
And I'm having a hard time telling whether you're a liberal Democrat or just one of their useful idiot RINOs.
If the past two days are any indication, he will have to be carried off the stage. He was either drunk or nearly so in PA the past two nights. One of the videos shows a clearly out of control Biden slurring and using at least one inappropriate word. Don't have a link right now. Sorry.
Fair enough. I'll step out of the room so you can have your fun.
Mad Ivan beats many of us on a regular basis. I did not look at her until July, I think it was. I have always believed executive experience is important, which is one reason I initially did not support McCain, and had him close to the bottom of the list of POTUS candidates. Thanks for the link.
From the slogan/ bumper sticker thread yesterday:
Renfield:
-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-
Obama/Biden want to raise taxes and kill babies.
McCain/Palin want to raise babies and kill taxes.
-<>-<>-<>-<>-<>-
Got asbestos?
Sigh.
Why is that “Excellent”, Cedric?
Wonderful photos.
I especially like the ‘body language’ of the Palin children who have their hands together as well as baby Trig who is completing a circle with his mother’s hand. Solidly together, composed people.
there are so many troops and public safety personnel massing in Texas it is ridiculous...I would say 20,000 National Guard and thousands of public safety personnel from the Western states.
Apparently, McCain half-joked this morning that his campaign has gotten so many contributions since the announcement of Palin, he wished he’d done it months ago.
I believe he’s gotten the message of why.
That is most excellent.
Well, you could run for city council and then maybe mayor, and then governor. And, also, you have to join the PTA, too.
(ducking)
MUST see ...if you haven’t.
Maria Bartiromo’s comments on MTDEmpressed, after an extensive interview IN Alaska of Gov. Sarah Palin .... PS: she’s impressed .. ;)

I caught the last part of this interview, and I wish the video showed Maria and the Governor in the outside shots, out in the AK terrain, as that was interesting as well.
She’s so far got me singing inside with pride, joy and hope.
Joe Biden has to be quaking (not that he’ll ever admit it), and really his job cut out for him. I think she’ll take him ... easily!
I just listened to the Steffi, Cokie, Donaldson, Will, Dowd panel and the dems are counting on Gwen Ifill, as moderator of the VP debate, to grill Palin.
I somehow did not hear any of the panel say that they expect Ifill to grill Biden.
I really like Cindy McCain. She indignantly defended her husband from the stupid ‘how many houses’ charge and told how proud she was of her parents for managing to raise 10,000 and start a successful business.
Nothing to apologize for, and she didn’t.
By the way one of her condos is occupied by an elderly aunt (neither thrown under the bus nor living in a hut) and another is occupied by Megan (their daughter).
Duh!
