I think overall we are getting the message out that we won't be stomped on any more. It may take the pubbies in Congress a while to step up but little by little I think they will.

Now take a few and settle down.

Well that might be possible if you hadn't tossed them into the Freeper Kool-Aid.

I know that dunce hat is heavy to wear.

Hey now, I'm not the one drinking Kool-Aid and worshiping a liberal.

Why don't you take a few more shots? Maybe spike it with some RINO dung this time? I hear it has "magical" properties.

In the Linux console, if you enter the following commands, you can learn the secrets of a political dirty trick. First, look up the host of ‘sarahpalingayrights.com’ to get the site’s IP address.

host sarahpalingayrights.com
sarahpalingayrights.com has address 74.208.74.232

Then use the same command to look up the domain name pointer of that IP address.

host 74.208.74.232
232.74.208.74.in-addr.arpa domain name pointer obamadefense.com

Well, well. “Obamadefense.com,” eh?

And what happens if you enter obamadefense.com on your browser’s address line?

Why, you’re redirected to none other than FightTheSmears.com, the official Barack Obama site that’s supposed to be defending him against smears.

Looks like they may have a second purpose: to generate a few smears of their own.

http://littlegreenfootballs.com/article/31096_Obama_Campaign_Behind_Anti-Palin_Smear_Site#rss

.
Good catch, learned how to do ping on the dos prompt in Networking class, seems they’ve removed the host for sarahpalingayrights.com, and obamadefense.com is now 68.178.232.100

McCain has apparently rallied...

Even a dead cat will bounce if it falls from a great height.

Mccain really knocked it out of the park when Wallace repeated Obamas line about questioning his patriotism. Mccain said I’m questioning his patriotism I’m questioning his judgement. Obama has no clue how to deal with our enemys

Nahhh the libs in town here kept it a mess. It's not through yet, but the new bridge is very well done. Also they put in a bunch of culverts that help the water flow from baby to bay which can't hurt things at all.

To live here you sort have to have a love hate relationship with the status quo or totally ignore everything local that goes on like I do.

Palin/Steele would be great too...

Michael Steele was on Fox on Thursday night with Bishop Jackson (???) and I thinkl Brett...

They were all talking about Obama and abortion...

Michael is so pro-life and conservative...with guts...

He was wonderful...

What a man...

“2. Given all the attention with Gustav, GOP operatives should point out that it is the GOVERNORS of these States that are accountable for decisions and public safety. Palin has this experience, Obama NONE.”

On a local (Baltimore) talk show yesterday, a county executive phoned in to say that he had been a mayor of a town similar to Palin’s and he called it a “twenty four hour a day part time job.” He said that you are responsible for the trash pickup, the grass mowed on the ballfield, as well as balancing the budget, etc.

He also said that the residents know where you live, where you shop and go to church, and will find you if things are not going well.

When it comes to governing, McCain is still an 80 percent conservative who will stick to his core conservative convictions.

I'm not going to get into it with you. Those remaining 20% positions are very much important to us and we haven't forgotten them (immigration, campaign finance, etc.). But we have to stop Obama before we can further argue those points among ourselves.

Off topic -- Fox at Obama rally in Ohio, not much excitement seen, few comments by Obama heard over Major Garrott are usual class warfare. Obama has usual ahs and pauses in short taped interview about the storm ("Hope it diminishes, etc....).

Like more Socialism?

I hope you like paying and paying and paying, because that’s what all of us are going to be doing after the McCain-sponsored bailout of FRE, FNM, and GM.

No matter who gets in, we are getting a Dem. Sara Palin has just given me a reason to vote instead of voting against. Yeah, there is socialism in our govt. And buddy if Obama gets in it’ll triple before the end of his first term along with the loss of free speech due to the Fairness Doctrine that the FC btw said could also impose itself on the iternet.

I’m still not a McCain fan, but God help us if Obama makes it in.

FOAD troll.

Either say something intelligent or go pull your pud in the corner with your buddy Cedric.

Either that or you’ll find yourself on the outside looking in like your fellow disruptor BTS.

Launching a political career as a small-town mayor creates one of the most interesting resume items a candidate for higher office can have. A small town mayor doesn’t just blabber in the legislature about theoretical soutions to vaguely defined problems but has to actually SOLVE REAL PROBLEMS.

And more than that, they operate in an environment of complete accountability and transparency. Their constitutents know where they live, where their children go to school, their home phone number, etc. It’s far easier for a legislator to hide himself away in a body of 100 other speechifiers than it is for a small-town mayor to duck the public.

Good points and something that should be hit and hit hard in response to questions on her qualifications.

Another way of saying it:

Unlike Sens.Biden and Obama, Governor Palin is not allowed to merely vote “Present” (or be a no show)
