actually this may be odd but I really don’t think it was Palin herself. I think what has happened is that her core beliefs have become center stage.
Essentially she has become the Republican Platform not a candidate. (pro-life, pro-second amendment not just a photo-op huner, and she comes from a state with a constitutional DOMA AND she is pro drill here drill now)
If it was just “a woman to have a woman” as mccain was originally looking it would have been a flop.

Meanwhile the City in a Bowl (below sea level) is going to be needing a few more hundreds of billions of dollars, and we get to watch it all happen live and in color, and in some cases High Definition TV.

I DO agree they are both more radical in their opinions, but so are many of us.
I will back off and let things develop. Damn..., too. I was doing SO good in keeping my mouth shut today.
