As I reported earlier, the scurrilous claim that McCain vice presidential pick Governor Sarah Palin faked her pregnancy with a Down's Syndrome child is beginning to spread among the lowest of the nutrooters. Now, the unhinged, smear site DemocraticUnderground.com has boosted this lie to their front pages. Naturally, since these hate sites feed into each other, the spurious source of the DU story is another DailyKos story like the one I earlier reported upon.
Of course, this whole meme is nothing but a lie. Are we expected to believe an entire state, its hospitals, doctors and media establishment helped cover up this pregnancy story? And they all did this for a Republican, to boot? It makes little logical sense to believe a word of this black helicopter conspiracy theory. Next thing we know, the Kossacks and DUers are going to expect us to believe that Big Foot and some gray aliens were the attendants at the birth!
But, here is the thing. This hateful story about the birth of a child with Down's Syndrome is exactly the sort of lowest, gutter ideas that float through the empty space in the voluminous heads of our friends at the lowest depths of the Democratic Party and the lefty movement. There are some sick, sick people over there and stories like this prove it....

Word needs to go to Rush, Hannity, and all other news outlets about the Forged “Birth Certificate” displayed on Daily Kos, along with a demand for Sen. Obamalamadingdong to produce a true and certified birth certificate and some documentation that shows his parents were actually married..... I haven’t seen or heard anything about that, but who knows? Maybe some smoke could be generated in that direction the same way......
I talked to a couple of Democrat friends this evening about this. They were treating this as a legitimate story and said they could not wait for evangelicals to hear this. I told them flat out that if they ever mentioned this BS to me again that we would cease being friends. That’s how serious this is. I don’t care what your political affiliation, you don’t make up these kinds of lies. I have no use associating with anyone who participates in such crap. DUmmies and KookyKosKids, if you’re reading this, go to hell.
August 30, 2008. The presidential campaign has just turned into a soap opera. MediaTakeOut.com is hearing rumors that John McCain’s VP pick, Sarah Palin , may have a scandal in her past. Word is coming from MTO readers in Alaska (yeah, we got readers in Alaska) and from a bunch of left-wing bloggers that McCain’s VP may have hid her daughter’s pregnancy. And that the child which she claims is hers, might actually be her daughter’s.
Here’s a report (excerpted from the popular blog The Moderate Vpoice):
[Governor Palin’s] oldest girl is rumored to have actually been the one who had the last baby, the one with Down’s Syndrome. She was taken out of school the last 4 or 5 months of her mother’s pregnancy.
On March 5th, 2008 Alaska’s Republican Governor, Sarah Palin, announced to the media that she was 7 months pregnant with her 5th child. She is currently 44.
Palin’s daughter Bristol is 16 and attends an Anchorage high school. Students who have attended class with her report that she has been out of school for months, claiming a prolonged case of mono.
Palin does not appear pregnant in any recent photographs. The announcement came as quite a shock to people who had worked closely with her, and have been quoted as saying that she did not appear pregnant whatsoever during the prior 7 months.
And there’s more – check out the photo above taken with Palin’s daughter having a bulge in her stomach. And the below pic shows the governor when she was supposedly 6 months pregnant.
And even more. Since these rumors have begun circulating, the Alaska Department of State has taken down ALL PHOTOS of the governor and her family from the state’s website.
Now y’all know that we’re not knocking the lady for trying to protect her daughter. But if you have that kind of scandal in your recent past, you really have no business running for vice president. If that’s what she wanted to do, she could have done like Janet and Rebe and just stayed out of the limelight for a minute…..
Anyway, even though the mainstream press is too chicken to report on this, MediaTakeOut.com has learned that The National Enquirer is all over this one. Expect the scandal to get bigger (if it is true) in coming weeks…

I saw an earlier FR thread on this, and there were pictures of her pregnant. She apparently just showed late. This really is a dirty thing for the libs to run with. They act as though they are above divisive politics. Obama said in his speech that character shouldn't be attacked, only positions on issues. They are hypocrites. It's ok for them to attack us but not vice versa. They had to stoop low to attack a baby. Of course, this is no surprise from the party where abortion is a sacrament.
I don't know whether the MSM will pick this up or not. The National Enquirer is apparently pursuing it. It's definitely something that's sizzling across liberal forums. If I were her, I'd go ahead and get a maternity test. That will make the liberals look like the fools they are.
We do know that Obama’s father already had a wife in Kenya, by the dates of birth of some of Holyman’s half-siblings. Now to be fair, his father being Moslem could have 4 wives, but I wonder how much Ann Dunham knew about the other Mrs. Obama back in Nairobi.
I wanted to add that people can come forward who know her, especially the doctors and nurses that delivered the baby.

It doesn’t matter. Why are you posting pics? We know this story is a bunch of crap, and the left wing kooks aren’t going to be won over with logic and proof.
McCain should use the same tact and force Obami to respond to this slander.

Oh my god. This has to be the most disturbing thing I have ever seen.
I know Jesus said to love one another and forgive. but quite frankly, I want these people to burn in hell.
1. They have been talking about a couple family pictures on the net. The newer photo is a 2007 picture from the state website. The daughter seems to be a bit taller than her mother. The other picture has to be somewhat older because both of the oldest daughters look younger and are noticeably shorter. Even so, it is this older picture they are using to point out the girl's tummy to allege she is pregnant. The timing is just wrong. Further, this girl has a similar build in each picture. If these two pictures were taken months—or a year—apart then the so-called photographic evidence is simply trash.
2. They are also trying to make something of the fact that the governor's “water” broke in Texas, but that she first gave her speech and then flew all the way home to give birth in Alaska. The problem with attacking this story is that it seems too unusual to be anything but true. If you are going to make up a lie, why not tell something less likely to to attacked?
No offense to the ladies, but many of you guys will be acquainted with the hormonally-influenced (and notoriously poor) judgment exercised by women about to give birth. And it gets worse with each child, because she starts to think she knows what she is doing. Ha!
(Note: My own experience was that by the fourth kid, the wife thought she had everything perfectly under control, but if I hadn't FORCED her into the car and off to the hospital, she'd have delivered our youngest on the front steps of the house.)
Downs Syndrome is caused by the presence of an extra chromosome. How in the hell does that have anything to do with leaking amniotic fluid? A better question is what does an abortionist care about child care anyway?
