Palin has been to Kuwait to visit AK guard troops. Unlike Obama she has visited wounded troops in Germany.
“Shes Reagan in a skirt.”
You are so right! Sarah Palin is another Great Communicator! Terrific speech, no notes or telepromptor. Her delivery was perfect, very professional. Beautiful smile, very photogenic, sincere, very comfortable about herself, highly intelligent...for starters. Anyone who thinks she will be uncomfortable debating with Biden hasn’t seen this speech!
“Lyin King”—great!!—on the other hand can barely complete a sentence on his own, appearing to stutter. I noticed that on the re-run of Saddleback tonight. Either that or he’s delaying his answer until he can think of one!
That explains everything! Obviously his mother didn’t believe in birth control or abortion either!
This is the funniest thing yet. The old biddy liberals counting on their fingers how many months passed between the wedding and the first born’s birth! And then passing judgement.
Isn’t this a hoot? I can hardly stop laughing about it. These are the folks who think religious people are intolerant and rigid.
This is 'movie line material'. Has a certain flow to it...way funny too.
Oh, yes...
I lived in SC during the ERA fiasco
They still needed THREE more states to pass the Amenment... # 26......
They all came to SC and were all over the state acting like fools...
They had a big ceremony and floated lit candles down the river in Columbia...
I can remember thinking whatever was that suppose to do ??? Impress God or something ???
Those women were nuts...
Would they have supported Sarah in her life “choices” ???
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Likely not, just as they are not doing now.
Years ago when Pat Robertson first admitted on his TV show that he had to get married it was only the left who sneered...
I think a whole lot of agendas are being exposed and it will continue...
God is Righteous...
and He is Just...
"Pro-choice" has never been anything but a smokescreen slogan. They aren't pro-choice. They're anti-life, anti-child, anti-marriage, and anti-family.
Amen.
“He almost outright says no female could qualify”
And _I_ will say outright that I tend to agree. There are very, VERY, V-E-R-Y few women I believe who could qualify, today and now, to be president of The United States.
This isn’t a beauty contest, nor does congeniality win. Even “good conservative credentials” ain’t enough in my book.
We’re talking about someone with the intestinal fortitude to order the death of millions, if circumstances require.
Could Sarah Palin do what Harry Truman did?
It is up to each and every voter to decide that.
My belief: no, she couldn’t do that. She is simply not the type.
DISCLAIMER: I will vote for her anyway, hoping for the best and that perhaps I’ll be proven wrong. I’ll support her along with McCain.
But I don’t believe she’s ready. That’s my honest take on the subject. And few women will EVER be ready for that job, also my honest opinion.
Sorry if it’s different than yours, and you have the right to ridicule me if you wish. But that’s my story and I’m stickin’ to it!

Whew these people are just plain awful - not to mention miserable.
What’s your take on Margaret Thatcher? I suspect you would have said the same about her before she became Prime Minister. After the fact, do you think she was unqualified to lead Great Britain through the Cold War?

Lady Thatcher was the _exception_ that proves the rule. Women of her calibre and constitution come few and far between. They didn’t call her “the Iron Lady” for nuthin’. :)
Research my past postings and you will see that I’ve made mention of Margaret Thatcher more than once. It is because she was so unusual (and I choose that word carefully), that she was able to do what she did, in partnership with Reagan and The Pope.
I simply don’t believe that we can pick an attractive conservative female and start pinning “Thatcher” on her any more than we could pick an attractive male conservative and call him the next Reagan. I’m too much of a realist for that.
I don’t expect another Reagan to be coming down the pike in my time.
Nor do I expect to see another Lady Thatcher.

Thompson.
Romney.
McCain.
Maybe even Huckabee.
NOT Paul. Nope.

Never bring a knife, even a long one, to a gun-fight (keep that quiet, we don't want *them* to know this...)

Bad choice of words there... Biden isn't "common", he's crude...
