Once again, a NASA space probe is supporting the 6,000-year biblical age of the solar system. On 14 January 2008, the Messenger spacecraft flew by the innermost planet of the solar system, Mercury. It was the first of several close encounters before Messenger finally settles into a steady orbit around Mercury in 2011.1 As it passed, it made quick measurements of Mercurys magnetic field and transmitted them successfully back to Earth. On 4 July 2008, the Messenger team reported the magnetic results from the first flyby.2
As I mentioned on the CMI website earlier,3,4 I have been eagerly awaiting the results, because in 1984 I made scientific predictionsbased on Scriptureabout the magnetic fields of a number of planets, including that of Mercury.5 Spacecraft measurements6,7 have validated three of the predictions, highlighted in red in the web version of the 1984 article. The remaining prediction was:

Keep telling yourself that, someday you might actually believe it yourself.
A rather pitiful performance, even for you, and you set the bar pretty low.

Now that you ask, the ape to man fantasy for one. Can people actually get a degree in that?? Sheesh, what a *****
Thanks for the link.
Keep in mind that if you get tired of the vitriol and just want to see some polite discussion of the facts, you can open up this thread with an ecumenical tag under the religion moderator’s guidelines. I’ve done a few of them and so far, the debate has been more polite because the rules of engagement are more strict. Your posts fit right in with what I’ve been saying and I have half an inkling to open this thread with the ecumenical tag. It just takes more time & effort, so I need to decide if I’m willing, that’s all.
Do you think of them as 'sharp, incisive' arguments only when you use them? The fact that they can be equally applied to you with just as much validity escapes you?
"I guess when you have no original thoughts yourself but are intellectually stuck back in the 11th Century it is all you CAN do."
Actually, all the quotes I used are from the 20th Century. You didn't know that?
Originality counts for a lot. Aping someones comments was considered really clever back in third grade; some of us grew up since then and now rely upon original material for our rhetorical points rather than the equivalent of “I know what you are but what am I?”.
You really believe that!
"Aping someones comments was considered really clever back in third grade..."
I was just trying to relate to the level of your arguments.
"...some of us grew up since then and now rely upon original material for our rhetorical points rather than the equivalent of I know what you are but what am I?.
And you have such 'original' material! I'm sure it counts for a LOT!

Reading this thread is like being beat to death with pop corn, one kernel at a time.
That’s not unlike the perfect popcorn storm that’s been going on throughout the Demwit caucuses and primaries, and now the convention. :’)
My momma taught me to stay away from places where people of low character congregate. Even if I’m offered pop corn.
Beyond words, just beyond words.
Just reflecting intellectually bankrupt comments back at the originator.
