Vermonter has been fighting cancer for many months. Sadly, His family just let us know that his fight is nearly over.
From his daughter, Denise:
"My dads battle with cancer is coming to a close. He is peaceful now at home under my care and my moms with hospice support. I want to thank you and everyone that has sent him prayers over the course.
Pancreatic cancer is an ugly cancer and hopefully someday they will find a way to slow it or stop it completely. My dad was and is a fighter. Right now we just want him to have peace."
Prayers on the way for our dear friend Vermonter and his family.
Prayers sent.
Prayers sent.
Prayers sent.
Prayers sent.
Apologies for the multiple posts. Don’t know what happened.
Would you mind praying for my husband and me? I cannot post the problem as it is personal, but I would ask if all you good Catholic prayer warriors would pray for us for the following:
1. That the truth would come out
2. That we will not have to go to trial
3. That God will deal with the people who are lying
4. That God will give us strength and peace and keep us from becoming angry and bitter.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I, too, just saw this request for prayer. Prayers have been sent for Vermonter and his family. I lost two aunts to pancreatic cancer; so sad, but God is good and we can rejoice in knowing the absolute perfection that awaits His sheep.

I sent this to Salvation but see now that I’m supposed to send prayer requests to you.
Prayers up for Vermonter and family.
May God grant you all strength and comfort as you go through these times.
I lost an uncle to pancreatic cancer a few years ago. Our consolation is that he accepted Christ and we’ll see him again.
Just saw this.
Many prayers for miracles and comfort for Vermonter and his family!
Prayers up.
Continued prayerful bump for Vermonter.
Hope he’s resting and peaceful...
Thinking of you buddy!!
Prayer said for Vermonter and his family.
Prayers sent up (and out to prayer chains). So sorry. No words are sufficient (well, except maybe Psalms 23 which is what My Dad was quoting to my mom when she passed recently.)
Prayers up for a good FReeper.
May God give him comfort and peace in his final days.
