Obama's plane wasn’t changed – the tip that broke Kerry's choice of Edwards in 2004 -- it simply reads “Change We Can Believe In; www.barackobama.com"). A significantly smaller crowd has turned up for this event than the 17,000 for Obama’s presidential roll out....

I was there. It was not scintillating by any means. The Blues Festival was in full swing yards away. Slightly hot, but good weather. The place should have been packed for the proverbial second coming. It wasn’t and yes, you are right, the reception was warm, trending toward lukewarm. St Louis is two hours away, Champain-Urbana 1 1/2 hrs, Chicago 3 hrs. Very poor turnout.
Illinois Sen. Dick Durbin said he talked with Obama about potential candidates three weeks ago on a campaign bus swing through Florida. They made pro-and-con sheets and speculated about how the candidates would respond to various scenarios.

Well, I googled around. The sites are not news sites but blogs alleging past work on her nose and mouth. Something else looked strange about her face today. I would never post what Janice Dickinson said about her. It is pretty racist. On the other hand, Cindy McCain is getting bashed about plastic surgery too. I’m no fan of plastic surgery unless it’s reconstructive after an accident or illness.
They also, idiotically, had a very low stage. We were within 50-75 feet and could not see the stage. Obsfucation on all fronts!

Just watching it on tv I noticed a distinct lack of “woo hoo” in the crowd. It was more like they were covered by a wet blanket and occasionally gasped for air when it was lifted off of them.

I don't get it. It's like they poured all of their cleverness and creativity into getting him up to the point of his Magical Mystery World Tour....and then ran out of ideas and energy...they don't understand why sll of their clever imagery and wording are turning people off and it has them at a loss.
But BIDEN? That is the most BRAIN DEAD choice he could have thought of! Biden's an idiot. They may love him in Delaware, but nowhere else. Biden's and has all the baggage to boot. It's like the breakdown of the Obama collective is complete.
Exactly. When I heard the ‘American Idol’ type text message of VEEP, all I could think was “it can’t be Bayh, Biden or whoever else because that would be too anticlimatic”. Big fizzle all in all. McCain by 9. I’m stickin’ to that.
I could care less if michelle has had some work done.....but if they worked on her face and left those thighs untouched she was robbed. ....with all the real issues in this race, this is just silly.
