Loads of conservatives, like Hannity, are pushing Romney.
Come on “Maverick” pick Heather Wilson.

If we had wanted Romney, he would have been voted as the nominee.

Romney, a sworn defender of Roe v. Wade, Gay Rights, Gun Control and Hillary Care, and is on the record bashing Ronald Reagan.
Well McCain said that he wanted someone who shares his beliefs, so it makes sense.

Of his choices, Lieberman cannot win CT for him, nor can Ridge take PA, or Pawlenty MN, or Romney MA and MI. But neither could Agnew take MD for Nixon.

    Romney will be VP.
Some even believe it to be foreordained.
Just relax and let it happen.

In terms of conservativism, I don’t like Romney OR McCain. But he could do worse, and for that matter it is hard to imagine McCain doing better than this.
At least Romney knows how to run both a business and a state; how to talk to the media and represent a constituency. These are not ordinary abilities.

    Resistance is NOT futile!
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers,  against the rulers of the darkness of this world,  against spiritual wickedness in high places. |

“If its Romney, McCain will get money from me for the first time.”
Absolutely. I donated to Romney’s campaign, and have since been getting solicitations from McCain’s campaign (and Romney via his Free and Strong America PAC) to donate to McCain. I sent two of them back saying “Pick Romney as VP and then get back to me.”
My money is sitting on the sidelines until he announces his selection.

I’d like to believe this, but there’s no way. It’s a game of chess... JM has a short list... He’ll wait to see who H picks, then he’ll decided, accordingly

McCain lost to Bush. Bush 41 lost to Reagan.
What’s your point?

Romney could help with MI, even if not MA.

Doing cartwheels...but I'll continue with my novena. ;)

Tim P. was on with the Friends and had the most dull answers to every question...he also was asked if he'd choose himself over Mitt or if he was the pick and he just said he couldn't talk about that. Crist did the same thing a few weeks ago. I got very nervous.
