Leave it to the liberal print media to find some way to kill everyone's Olympics buzz.
For instance, did you know that the choice by the U.S. Olympic Committee to have Ralph Lauren stitch the threads for Team USA's opening ceremonies uniform was an unfortunate nod to racism and classism and a futile, nostalgic clinging to America's waning WASP empire? That according to Sameer Reddy (pictured at right, photo via Newsweek) in an August 20 online exclusive for Newsweek

I have not read that rag in so many years.

They're unhappy and they're determined to make the rest us us unhappy, too.
He needs to get a life.
RE: “This settles it! From now on, Im buying all of my clothes at Brooks Brothers!”
Absolutely! My father always said I was “searching for the Golden Fleece” — Brooks Bros. insignia —
So be it — that, and the Polo pony and the Lacoste crocodile are perfect! Always loved the Preppy look — happy to help bring it front and center again.
Poor Sameer Reddy....his article demonstrates a crucial need for the following:
#1. Red meat in his diet.
#2. Some in-depth counseling with a licensed professional.
#3. A few REAL friends.
#4. Regular physical exercise.
#5. A girlfriend.
#5. A new hair stylist (traditional word was barber)
I’m sure that several of you can add to the list....or even modify it as needed.
;-)
In other news. Libs still think Promiscuity, Abortion, Communism, anti-Americanism, Religion-hating are still AOK.
As long as you are a particular group of people. E.G. Minority (AKA Black or Hispanic. Asians Need not apply) unemployed, on welfare, have children out of wedlock, does drug, has previous felony and most of all DEMOCRAT.
Sameer? What kinda preppy name is that?
That hair style looks like a way of signaling 'I'm queer,' kind of like a secret handshake among members of a closed group.
This is just a hypothesis, but this is the impression I get.
Never gonna give you up, [Racist epithet}....
7. A change in sexual and political orientation.
Black Prep Students Told 'Bang, You're Dead'
40 African-Americans Receive Death Threats at Elite N.H. School
By SUSAN DONALDSON JAMES
March 7, 2008
New Hampshire's elite St. Paul's School has seen generations of blue bloods pass through its bucolic campus, but the prep school's pristine image took a hit recently when black students received death threats in their school mailboxes.

That statement by News-Weak is racist in itself .....
That’s what the counseling is for. ;-)
Lauren is a Jew with a highly romanticized yen for the old New England aristocratic/athletic set. Not a bad romance to have. That's where all the riding boots and jackets come from. I still buy a few casuals from the Lauren line. Every year there's a soft and beautifully tailored chambray shirt I have to have, no matter how many I already have.
I remember being a very poor young woman who longed for one of Lauren's Fair Isle sweaters...they were $400 a pop, and that's not adjusted for inflation.
Great tag line for you!!
JUST ANOTHER SAMEER CAMPAIGN!!
#6. A life.
Something is wrong with a lot of the blacks that i know. Most of them really like Ralph Lauren clothes. We even trade information on where they are on sale.
When they are on sale they are really good value - by the way we are still talking about preppy style.
It may be due to the fact that most of the blacks I know aren’t gangbangers.
I’ll bet Brooks Brothers and Gant are really depressed about this.
Cool beans! Now I can hate myself!!!
For a long time, I actually thought Rick Astley was black!
Didn’t see the cloths but had to have better than the pants at the knees for the guys and crack on top, cheeks showing on bottom for girls that would have been considered “trendy and hip”.
