The 36-year-old actress was born in Hollywood, California. Robert Applegate, her father, was a record producer and record company producer executive, and Nancy Lee Priddy, her mother, was a singer. She also had to fight both breast and cervical cancer.

Christina Applegate will always remain in the audience’s memory as Kelly Bundy in the sitcom “Married with Children.” The actress made a great film and television career until her 36 years.

Christina Applegate had major roles in several pictures, as “Farce of the Penguins,” “Anchorman,” “The sweetest thing” and is the lead character in the ABC sitcom “Samantha Who?,” Samantha Newly.

She has been diagnosed during a regular MRI and her cancer diagnosis was reported by the Hollywood gossip TV show Extra. Still, she now announces that she is free of cancer after she had followed the rigorous treatment.

“I’m clear, Good Morning America,” the actress said in an interview on Tuesday. "Absolutely 100 percent clear and clean. It did not spread. They got everything out, so I'm definitely not going to die from breast cancer," the “Married with Children” star announced.

The actress is now scheduled to appear in the TV-special “Stand up Cancer” which will air on ABC, CBS and NBC beginning September 5. The goal of the show will be to raise money for cancer research.

A beautiful woman, who appears to be a decent individual from people I know who have met her on the job. The choice she's made is one of the hardest "easy" decisions I can imagine. I pray for women who have to make the choice ahead of time, as well as those already in the fight for life.

I hate cancer. As an aside, I'm planning to join the FR folding team, which is helping researchers by using your computer during idle moments. More info here: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/chat/2063306/posts

This story appears to have been written by a retarded person.

The first few paragraphs read like an obituary.

I honestly thought she was dead by the end of paragraph two and thought that made the headline pretty weird, dead’s not really the preferred way to “get rid of” cancer.

that's exactly the reaction I had too.
