Some friendly advice. You will be taken much more seriously if you learn how to spell. AM
Casting a spell in Introduction to Wicca 101 doesn't count does it? LOL

Georgia was a Allie??? Isn't that the stuff that will give you runs if you eat fat?

Maybe O should sit down and have a dialogue with Putin.
On Fox and the commercial—— You would think they would be able to cut it IMMEDIATELY and go to important news. Time to e-mail my disatisfaction ——AND let them know that I have had CNN on for both the Bush comments and the follow-up discussion.
Maybe Fox is waiting for Brett Baier or whomever is going to be on at 6PM, but they blew it for sure.

The Pres used the words "Russia must" more than once - diplomatic speak for "Russia had better do what we ask". That is very tough talk.
I got news for you. There is nothing Bush can do to force Russia to back down short of launching a pre-emptive nuclear strike.

I just switched from Fox to CNN for the breaking developments. I was pretty pissed to miss most of the speech.

There is nothing Bush can do to force Russia to back down short of launching a pre-emptive nuclear strike. I wonder if he can work on triggering an internal power struggle within Russia between the President and the Prime Minister. As re another post, I don't think his comment about 'regime change in Russia' was a slip of the tongue.

Tough talk better be backed up by tough actions. Georgia will not hold out many more days...maybe hours.
The only ones I see taking action are the President of the Poland, Ukraine, Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia.
I hope we have action in the works right now, because if it is not, it is likely to be too late.
I hope the Gerogian troops from Iraq have secondary fields in the south for our planes to land them at, and I hope our planes are going in with heavy, active, full load US fighter escorts. It is not likely that Tiblisi will hold too long...but I hope the Georgians have some real surprises instore for the Russians and large scale ambushes worked out as the Russian push towrds Tiblisi which will hold them up.
I hope the headlong retreat is a ruse to draw them into some killing fields of Georgian artillary and multipl rocket systems.
Time will tell...but time is of the absolute essence and favors the Russians at this point.

I hope Fox will replay what he said as all they broadcast was the last part of it. Geesh!!!!

Does this remind you of the Hungarian uprising, when they waited in vain for the help that never came... before the Soviet tanks rolled in and crushed them in the streets?
That was in '56, and Radio Free Europe and the Voice of America kept broadcasting messages like "America will not fail you", and the only motive for that was to stir up the crowds, agitate riots, all to cause grief (justified of course) for the Communist puppet government. When push came to shove, Eisenhower let the Hungarians twist in the wind.

I believe they thought they could take out Pakistan or Iran afterwards - piggy backing down to a warm water port.

You’re wrong. He could OK Israel to bomb Iran’s nuke plants. He could move the military in to a blockade position around Iran.
Putin would sh** a brick as his primary goal is control of oil and Iran is one of his principle suppliers of oil.

Historically, what they have always wanted, a port on the Indian ocean? In the game of nations, you have to think long term.
