Breaking News:
Issac Hayes passed away this morning, comfirmed by Shelby County Sherrif's office. More later when article is posted.
He had a stroke earlier this year, per news reports.

My wife and I saw him in concert at DAR Constitution Hall in the late 60s or early 70s. One of his warm-up acts was a young comedian named Gabriel Kaplan.

yes, he was the voice of CHEF from South Park.
He was also the one who left the show because Trey Parker and Matt Stone were MEAN’ to the Scientologists when the infamous episode came out.
Then again, in respect for the dead, he was one mean motha..(shaft!)
